This spring Kendell and Aiden had "grief sex" once. At the time I read a couple of different places that Alicia Minchew DID NOT want to do that scene. She felt it was not believable and was bad for her character. And fought to have it removed. She was told to act or be fired!

At the time I made and still believe to this day... I do not know of any woman anywhere that would think of having sex in that situation. She was tired, cold, feared that her husband was dead, her best friend also. Her oldest son might be deaf for life and her youngest son was ill. In reality she would have wanted a bath and a nap, but would have been to tired to sleep. I don't think anyone could have talked her into Wine or sleep aids... she would have wanted to remain alert.

This one Scene has completely divided the AMC fans and started the decline of the posters base here..to the point several have been banned. WOW... a scene that didn't last 5 minutes in 38 years of film... Talk about a bad move...gotta wonder if TPTB are aware of what they did by leaving it in... JMO

Fan, you and I have always agreed that the ONS was a "huge" mistake and totally unrealistic. I totally agree with you! It never made any sense to me at all. In that situation, sex would have been the absolute LAST thing I would have been thinking of. I just hope they don't dwell on the ONS thing for the next two years. They just need to get the whole mess over with!

I totally agree..it's totally unbelievable..I think that is partially why I want Greenlee to forgive Kendall and Aidan..so we can all move on from this and pretend it never happened and let this s/l die.

I agre.
All I know that some days when my kids drive me crazy and even take naps...I'm just tired. Not to mention all the cr*p Kendall had to deal with in those weeks that they were missing. The entire scene didn't make sense. I guess it was the only way they could break up Greens and Aidan.

I totally agree with you all. I feel the same about Tad & the Madden mess. Way out of character. And then Dixie killed by pancakes. Will the writers ever correct their errors? I doubt it.

I think someone mentioned that maybe it was the best way to break up Ailee. What happened to the good ol' fashioned reasons ?!?!? Like:

"It's not you, it's me"
"I can't be in a relationship right now"
"You deserve better"
"We're not on the same page anymore"
"It was fun while it lasted"
"I love you but I'm just not IN love you"
"I just don't love you anymore"
"I met someone else"
....

I guess that makes it a little boring. Because that's one thing we can't accuse this s/l of being. If it were we wouldn't be talking about so much!!!!!!!

I agree whole heartedly. When they ran this part of the episode, I fastforwarded. I could not bring myself to watch.

I mean really, if you think about the worst thing that has every happened to you emotionally, sex is not the next thought for the solution. When my mom had a massive heart attack right in my hands some 15 years ago, I did not want my then boyfriend kissing or making romantic advances towards me. My mom was near death, and had she died, I would not want to have sex! When my boyfriend found out what had happened and got to me, the only thing I wanted was for him to hold my had and tell me everything was going to be ok. and it was. I can't understand WHY people thing that sex is the answer to everything! The only thing that this story line lead to was me saying, "what the hell is wrong with these people?"

I totally agree with you, I actually stopped watching the show after that happened, but have since come back because I have been waiting for Tad to find Kate.
