How sad was that last scene of hers today? It broke my heart seeing her tell Krystal about how much Kathy meant to her. Im not happy that she had to depart AMC this way. She finally finds a bit of happiness and then she has to lose everything? Unfair!! There was a time when she used to be my favorite character...way back when she was with Noah and I was so excited when I found out that she was returning to AMC and that excitement turned to disappointment as I soon realized that she was only going to basically be used as background scenery . Its such a shame that things had to turn out like this. There was so much potential yet TPTB failed to see it and now she is lost to us forever . Wherever she goes I hope its with Noah.

I know!! I was in tears too and Im not much of a cryer!! if anyone should have died, it didn't have to be Julia.

There are about 5 other characters that I wish WOULD HAVE caught that bullet other than Julia. Sydney will be missed by many. Just another quality, well-established actress that TPTB at AMC have crapped on. What a waste of a very good and talented actress too.

Once again, TPTB have erred in judging which talented actors/actresses to keep and which ones to let go. (They are obviously dyslexic and see things the opposite way that the viewers do)!

They throw quality out the window and keep the crap instead!

I have been a fan of Julia Santos/Sydney Penny since she came on to AMC, loved she and Noah, stopped watching when they left. I will miss Julia, but I am sure Sydney will be ok.

Just as you all were, I was in tears too, Heart breaking scenes, and I think SYDNEY ,and JOE , and KRYSTAL, made you really feel the emotion.
I sure do wish ,they had NOAH come and TAKE her off to HEAVEN. POOR JULIA...A pure HEART now lost forever ..like so many others.....

But then again a little lighter note.....

We can get a scene 20 YERS from now when Kate goes to buy her wedding dress...It TURNS out that JULIA OWNS the store and ...has been watching her grow up ever since!!

Julia will be missed! She is a wonderful actress! I wish the Santo's family would all return to AMC! I wish Syndey the very best of luck, she'll have no problem getting another job!

Killing her off was wrong. They didn't have to kill her off, Tad and Julia could have raised her, without becoming a couple. should have sent her away or something.

I dont even watch AMC but I got home early from work this week and I watched it before OLTL & GH. I didn't really know any background for this character but I was crying like a baby. It was so emotional and sad. And I dont know who the actress is who plays julia but she did a fantastic job. Anyway now its got me watching AMC. =]
