They were sleeping buddies before Kendall even came to the picture. Leo was never Gillian's. In fact, Leo had nothing going on with Gillian. They never hooked up, and were never together romantically. The first woman Leo wanted was Becca. But that never happened (she had the whole Virgin thing going on as well as confusion regarding her feelings for Scott). Instead, he started being with Greenlee as friends with benefits, until they became more. Then there was Jake, who was never with Kendall. That's four men that she's been with before Kendall or any other woman. I really don't see how she qualifies as being with Kendall's leftover or any other woman's since she came to the show. The only Kendall leftover she had was Aidan. And I'm not sure he counts, since Kendall was only amusing herself with him while Ryan was away, and Kendall actually took him from Maria (yes that one was icky to me too) & Mia. It's one thing to dislike a character. It's another to spread false info about them just to prop a character you like (let me guess, Kendall fan?  ). I watched the show when "Greenlee" came to town in 99, and have been watching her whole journey. I'm not saying that she never went after men who were with other women (she pursued Scott after he move to PV and started falling for Becca, she pursued Ryan after he ended things with her and was with Gillian, and she pursued Leo after he ended things with her and married Laura even though he was in love with her). I'm saying that although she may have gone after these men, she had them before these so-called women of their lives.

No... What Greenlee needs is some SERIOUS therapy - to deal with the multitude of issues she has. That, and she needs to see that her Ryass obsession is and always has been unhealthy, for a variety of reasons. She also needs to learn that happiness isn't bestowed by simply being with a man - any man - and that true happiness comes from within. |

You'll notice I said MULTITUDE of issues also - not just her Ryass obsession. This is a Greens thread, so I was only referring to HER obsession-hero worship of the Ryass. I agree, all the women in PV need to be deprogrammed where Ryass is concerned - that's a regular running theme in many of the columns I've written where Ryass is concerned. But that's a matter for a different thread. |

But that's a matter for a different thread. They ALL have issues. With trust, abandonnement, self-love, self-hate, self-preservation, accepting love, being happy without $crewing it up... These apply to ALL the women in PV. Erica, Brooke, Kendall, Greenlee, Annie, Bianca, Babe, Amanda, Colby, Liza... and the list goes on and on. If they weren't all insane and in need of therapy and professional help, we wouldn't watch them to feel better about our lives. Greenlee's problem (and all of the other women in PV) is that she's a great soap character: selfish and giving at the same time, tough and vulnerable, hateful and lovable... she's great paradox. She not just black or white, but many many shades of grey... Like most of the characters. |
