AMC isn't that bad. In fact even though we ALL know our show can do better, it is far more entertaining than Y&R. I dunno y Y&R has such high ratings. I know AMC has been slipping, but I just dont think it'z that bad.

Are you kidding? Y/R is one of the best written shows. AMC has the worst actors and there stories are just stupid. They have some good stories but they drag them out so long you get sick of watching and in the mean time they throw a bunch of crap in there ! It should be called the Greenlee and kendall show and what revoles around them ! I have watched AMC since i was a girl now many years later I rarly watch ! This show is one of the worst soaps out there !

I don't have any qualms with "most" of the actors/actresses (just a few), but the writing on AMC I feel is terrible. There is no direction at all with storylines which seem to be just what the AMC writers feel like writing from day to day. There needs to be long term "thought" put into storylines so they take you from "one point to another" with good, quality stuff in between.

AMC seems to be the only soap where storylines "jump all over the place" with no direction. And, they let these so-called storylines drag on forever without ever going anyplace and only focus on a select few characters in every storyline.

AMC has a lot of talented actors/actresses in their cast, yet only a select few are utilized and given storylines. Unfortunately, the ones being utilized the most are NOT the most talented in AMC's cast of characters. And even more unfortunate is the fact that they are the ones who keep getting all the storylines written for them while more talented actors are relegated to "supporting" or non-existent roles. JMO

I admit I rarely ever watch anymore because I'm sick to death of seeing the same actors in every single storyline, especially when my favorite actors/actresses are being relegated to being mere flunkies. I want to see "good" acting and "quality" storylines. It's very hard to "catch" the occasional good stuff without having to watch all the crap around it.

I for one, used to watch y and r at nite, on soapnet. Now I watch it at 12:30 pm, and AMC starts here at 1 pm. Most times i stick with Y & R and flip to AMC. Every time I flip, Greenlee, Ryan, Annie, Kendull is on. It is tiring and boring. And Im watching it since first episode, Jan, 1970. They have a great cast, which should be utilized more, instead of focusing on the same people day in and day out. It used to be the only soap I'd actually sit down to watch, was kid's naptime. Now, I'm lucky to watch last half hour of it. I hope they don't screw up Angie and Jesse.
