I've read in 3 different places that Alexa Havins, former Babe, is STRONGLY considering returning as Babe. One source, (I don't wanna get in trouble) even referenced this "spumor" as "ANOTHER 'REAL' RETURN"! Supposedly, they're in talks. It was also mentioned that her and her hubby would be on separate coasts, therefore I guess the lovely Justin Bruening would not be back with her. (sad) Anyway, I just HAD to share this!

I wondered about that.... I hadn't even heard the rumor. But middle of the week Joe mentioned Jamie and Jake.. then Tad said Friday... "What about my son Jamie"... I thought then.. HMMM gotta wonder if he is about to reappear at least on a part time basis....

Yeah, I've read it on 6 different sites myself. Gotta tell you though, if Amanda Baker loses her job over this, it ain't going to go over to well. As for Justin, his Knight Rider series shoots in California, so yes, hubby and wife will be on separate coasts.

I know the "spumor" you talk about, and yes it is from a very reliable source.

oh i really hope it is true. alexa is the only one who can play babe, the other girl just can not pull it off, she can't do the accent and she looks nothing like crystal, alexa has those big brown eyes just like crystal, they really do look like mom and daughter.

Well if this is true I will be there to console Alexa from being away from her hubby. It's the right thing to do !!!

Oh my!!! Alexa's Babe is my favorite AMC character of all time, im not even a fan of the new Babe, but if Amanda Baker loses her job for the same reason ****** did, then I am officially done watching....for real this time, I would hope that she would return because it would be Amanda's decision to leave..Actually I would love for that to happen.

and true. it is not fair to amanda backer if she loses her job just for alexia to return to her role as babe because there's nothing out there for her? well' hey''' you know what? tough''. because it's very unfair to the new babe' amanda backer. she gave up her role on night shift to take this recast so maybe she will return to GH. IF' FRONS DOS IT RIGHT THIS TIME AND DOSN'T TURN THIS ONE IN TO ANOTHER REBICCA/ SABINE SCANDEL.
it shouldn't even be alloud to bring back the one that left on there own all because they cant find any thing out there in hollywood filming and then to fire the recast, that should and needs to change as to, once they leave' thats it.

I was heart broken when Alexa left. Her Babe was my favorite character. I am still having a hard time with Amanda. With that said, Amanda is a very good actress. Just not as Babe. Now do I want her to loose her job because Alexa wants to come back. No! Alexa left on her own as did Rebecca and their is unfair to the actresses that replaced them. I just saw Alexa in "27 Dresses" it was a very brief part, but I think she is movie star material. I wish she would be able to make that transition from Soaps to the movies. But I have to say again I do miss her as Babe!

First, I don't think Alexa asked for her old job back as Babe. I think TPTB likely made her an offer she couldn't refuse to come back to hopefully help ratings. It is rumored that they have been trying to lure her back for months and months.

Amanda Baker has never really taken off as the new Babe and I don't think it is quite the same thing as it was with Sabine. Sabine actually came into her own as the new Greenlee and, after a while, was accepted in the role. Then, out of nowhere, TPTB just "dumped" her without any notice or reason. Personally, I don't think Amanda has ever really "caught on" as Babe and I think she is aware of that fact. Not that she isn't a good actress, but just not suited for the Babe role. I also don't think Amanda was "blindsided" by Alexa's return to the role like Sabine was. And Alexa's possible return has been rumored for months whereas everything was done "on the sneak" behind Sabine's back when Rebecca returned.

As long as Frons doesn't do one of those "REAL BABE IS BACK" commercials and throw it up in everyone's face at every turn, I don't think there will be much of a bruhaha about it! JMO

I, for one, am looking forward to Alexa's return, and I hope Amanda finds a role that is more suited to her. She did an admirable job, but she just doesn't fit the Babe role. JMO
