All My Children - MESSAGE BOARDS

There was a point at the beginning of the Annie and Ritchie story line, that their deaf father came into the picture, and Annie had a very mysterious communication with him. It's as if she didn't want him to say something to someone. I think that Annie actually comitted the murders and has blamed Ritchie, and this is why Rithie is angered with her. Their father knows the truth, but Annie has somehow threatened him. Any comments here, because I'm confused about this.

Much like Kate's whereabouts to Tad ..... it's still a mystery.

I'm still thinking Richie is the villian in the family, but he's cunning and able to pull the wool over others. We've seen some of the things he's done, including stealing JR's car and hitting Zach then dragging him into the woods. After Zach and Greenlee had fallen into the bomb shelter, he came back and covered the entrance.

As far as his father, I would imagine Richie and Annie were like siblings where the instigator (that would be Richie) does something to the other sibling (that would be Annie); and while the parents don't see Richie's attack, after Annie yells and attacks back, they see that and Richie cries that Annie hit him and he "didn't do nothing". After a few of those, they think Annie is the instigator whenever something happens. I'll bet the mother's death was due to something Richie did, but he blamed Annie and the father believed him.

I'm really enjoying the actor's work, but the Richie character is scary.

I think Richie is the morally bankrupt one of the family ... though I would love to see Annie go mad!! I think the poor Dad is caught in the middle of it all. I think Annie has something she's holding over the father's head .. I'm thinking is that maybe he cheated on his wife. I'm not sure.

I think Billy, Melissa, % Bob are all doing wonderful jobs!!

I'd like Annie either to snap out of it or leave! Richie needs to be redeemed!! And Walter needs to love both his children the same and realize what his son & daughter have and have not done!

Shortly after Richie came into the picture, I started wondering if it was really Annie that was the evil one. I have swung back & forth ever since. The scene with Annie lying on the sofa holding a knife and the window wide open made me really think she was nuts. Also, the night she went to visit her dad and she threatened him by saying "Remember that horrible thing I did before...well I can do it again". I'm not sure of the exact words but it sure made me think once again that she may be the bad one. I think the writers have left things rather murky for a reason.

Like Wannazach said...Annie has just been TOO SWEET and innocent. They may both be evil but I sure don't think Richie is the only one. Too much mystery surrounds this family.

i wish they would hurry up with this Lukemia thing. I am tired of the annie and richie story. she spends more time arguing with her brother than being with her daughter. it has been forever since she has been with spike too.
