why does it ...![]() |
I remember being a child and being "forced" to watch this show years ago and I was enchanted by the Angie and Jesse storyline. Now, I am in my early 30's and this person still looks the same. I am not talking about the soap opera drama with faces that aren't moving due to plastic surgery, but she genuinely looks good. Did she start out as a child on the show, what is the history? |

Amazing, she looks like her head has been frozen all these years and thawed out for this role. |

This is a funny thread because I thought the same thing. I am an AMC old timer and remember her well and yes she still is a very pretty gal. Yes frozen in time. I have not watched this week yet but I am very interested to see what is in store for Angie. |

They both look amazing and I hope they'll be on long-term.It's great to have more diversity on AMC and Darnell for a older guy is kinda hot lol. |

I am in awe of her because she doesn't wear very much make up and she looks absolutely beautfiul. I was just curious if anyone knew her age, because I swear she looks so young and there aren't any telling signs in her neck. |

I think I can explain this dilemma. I used to work with a number of black women and always admired their great skin tone, almost without exception. After watching "The Oprah Show" on aging a few months ago, it seems to be a matter of genes. According to her and a black celebrity guest (sorry but I don't remember her name) they both said the same thing: "Blacks don't crack". So it appears that black people are blessed with "anti-aging" qualities. Look at Oprah...she's 54 years old (I think) and she's gorgeous! |

Quote loyal13: "Blacks don't crack". That's so funny, because I thought that when I saw Angie. My college roommate, a lovely shade of chocolate, used to say that all the time. She also moisturized like crazy! I can't catch the scent of cocoa butter without thinking of her. So I think it's a combination of genetics, melanin and skincare regimen. Whatever the reason...Angie and Jesse both look fantastic! |

Those dimples are to die for. Thanks for the response! |

If there are any black readers of this post, please confirm or deny this statement. Yep, Oprah is 54! Her birthday is on January 29, 1954. |
