IT'S A SPOILER ... sometimes they pan out ... sometimes it don't ... and especially with all the writers situation. There are gonna be spoilers that don't come through. I think, for the most part, everyone here understands they aren't written in stone. So, I think right now, we need to either understand it ... or if not ... just read the spoilers or comings & goings on the side nav bar. And just stick with them then .. not threads if it's not felt that they are reliable. It's all personal accountability. I personally read the spoilers and comings & goings and hope they either do or do not pan out!! Depending on who or what it's about!!  Oh, totally!  They're fun, and no one knows for sure if they'll all pan out because so many of them are just wild speculation by people with no connections. But like anything else, it's wrong to take what someone else has reported and pretend it's your own "scoop." If you read something at SOW, SOD, SON.com, Soapzone etc., say that when you post a spoiler. Don't make like "a little bird told you." Credit people for their material if you are reposting it, don't post it as yours. That's wrong, and that's why most soap boards insist on crediting sources when you're repeating something and not originating it. |

Eden Riegel (Bianca's portrayer) decided to leave to pursue other acting opportunities...and that's why Bianca has mostly only come back for visits...and that one extended stay since Eden left this show in 2005. Bianca is a very popular character. Some viewers may be worried about watching her have an onscreen romance with a woman (a biological woman, that's not a stab at Zoe, just pointing out an audience visually seeing two women together romantically), but even most of those viewers love Bianca. I seem to recall a gay male character on the show a few years ago. There hasn't been a gay male character on this show in a long time. They hardly even tell the romantic aspect of Bianca's life, so if they bring on a new gay male character, I'm sure they'll be even more conflicted about showing a romance for him. Although, it's also a good thing when they don't make a gay character so much about their sexuality (though showing an onscreen romance for a gay character doesn't mean that that character has to become mainly about being gay). I've read several posts about the As the World Turns character Luke Snyder, that he seems more defined about his sexuality now than anything else. I certainly would not want that to happen to Bianca. As the World Turns also has slowed down on their romance between Luke and Noah Mayer, to where a lot of viewers are saying it's ridiculous. You barely see that romance, as they are on mainly once a week...sometimes no week at all, and the intimacy between them has been reduced to hugs lately. I remember Bianca and Lena's romance slowing down like that, but they still had more air time than what Luke and Noah are getting now. Anyway, we all want a good storyline for Bianca when she comes back to Pine Valley (and we all know she will return, even if only for a short stint...and even with a short stint, a good storyline needs to be in order). |

But ... yea some read on other sites and post here ... but I know normally the on Ezra and CT post aren't read at another site. I'm not sure of anyone else. No offense to them ... I just don't know. But I'll "listen" to any ... cause ya neva know!! haha!

CT keeps saying that Eden's return has been put on hold,I thought she was never actually in contract negoiations at all.When AMC where asked they said she isn't returning,I thought this mean't she hadn't been approached,I hope that changes and with the posibility of new writers she could get a great storyline. |

Let me explain. I went to a site called soaptownUSA. In the January 21st issue called "View from the Valley" section, it clearly stated that Eden had signed a contract, and she was returning to the show. Originally, another website, (One I can't think of right now), said that Eden was supposedly coming back for February sweeps. Knowing that was unlikely simply because the taping for February was just about done, and Eden was not at any of the tapings, at least not to my knowledge. So, that's when I put up the thread that Eden's return was delayed. Also the website, After Ellen, reported the same story that soaptownUSA reported, that the ink was drying on Eden's contract that she signed, and she is coming back. Also, the website soapzone also reported in its January 28th column that Eden would most likely return when the Erica/Samuel romance started to heat up because of the Senator's views on gays and lesbians. That's another reason I stated that Eden's return had been put on hold. Again, they got their info from the same place I got it from. They went with it, so I did as well. When I, or anyone for that matter report a spoiler, it's going to be true about 80-85% of the time. But given that 15-20% chance of being false, or later being changed, don't take all the spoilers I give out as the absolute gospel truth. I try like heck to make sure my spoilers are true, and I usually go with two sources for my info, but once in a while, I'm going to look like an idiot when the spoilers turn out to be false. I have many sources for spoilers. Some you may know quite well, and some you've probably never heard of. If anyone has an questions about a particular spoiler of mine, you can always e-mail me. I'm on my computer almost everyday, and sometimes 2-3 times a day, so unless I'm away, sick, or my computer breaks down, I'll be more than happy to answer your questions. I hope this answers some of your questions. |

Thank you for clearing that up, CT. I think many people thought you were getting these things straight from the horse's mouth (like someone who is connected with AMC). If they are all coming from soap sites and magazines, you are probably better off from now on just naming them when you post. You should always give people a shout-out when you borrow their material. |
It's the right thing to do, plus when they don't pan out, you can more easily say "I was only repeating what I read at so-and-so" instead of having people think YOU were wrong.

All these "spoilers" are just lifted like word for word from other sites and mags, not from direct sources. If I'm wrong, and CT does work in the business or has connections at the show, I'm sorry, but since every one of these "spoilers" are from already published reports (some inaccurate), I have to assume he's only a fan like the rest of us, and just reads everything he can find. That's cool, but be real about it. I just think if you borrow spoilers or tidbits from someone else (which is not a crime), you should credit them. At least then, if they turn out to be wrong, you're off the hook. Plus, it's the honest thing to do. I know other soap forums have made this a rule, maybe it's time this one did the same. (Even if Eden Riegel comes back for good one day, that doesn't make this rumor "correct." It was not. It was not even CT who originally said/predicted it. It was copied from an inaccurate post on another site.) What you wrote is very respectful, that poster was being RUDE thats what I was trying to point out. I have no inside info...I dont write for the show...I put threads with spoilers in them to mostly talk about it, thats what the BOARD is supposed to be about TALKING about the show. |
