Please someone explain to me what an avatar is and what is that little symbol on the number 5 key? Thank you and I know you all think "Boy where has she been" but please I just want to know. |

On my keyboard the number 5 has a % symbol and some that looks like a C with an equal sign in the middle of it. Thanks for the info on the avatar. |

I am asking about it because I have seen several people use it on their post but I do not get the connection when they use it. I wish I knew what it meant! |

Hello! *smiles* I have been chatting for about 14 years now. If you would show me what symbols you are talking about I can explain them to you. The Avatar that YOU are using is that little green butterfly.. On other sites they may be called Icons! |

Thank you the symbol I am speaking of is the one that is on the number 5 key. It looks like a C with and = sign in the middle of it. I have seen alot of people use it but I do not see the connection when they use it. Could you please explain it to me? |

An image you picked to portray how u feel. The € is the sign for the Euro ... which is the European form of money .. infact one that is kicking the American Dollar a bunch!! But we now return you to your regular AMC threads.
