In a new and innovative way, (NOT), Ryan is going to develop amnesia. He is going to go back to 2004, and think his engagement to Kendell is still on. Needless to say, Annie freaks out, which by the way will open the door for Richie to grab Emma, which leads to another set of unintended circumstances. |

You are spot on, my friend! I hate, with a passion I cannot describe with mere words, amnesia storylines. I hate them almost as much as I hate coma storylines. Why? Because it's hard to make them "different", "innovative" or do much other than rehash old history. He's in love with Kendall again - okay, but we've seen the Ryan/Kendall romance and not very long ago. I'm the first to admit that I'm not completely invested in the Annie/Ryan romance anyway because it was such as easy romance to start - there was no real conflict for them, no real character change... so putting him in a love triangle with Annie and Kendall doesn't seem overly compelling to me. I could be completely wrong and I realize sometimes really great things come from amnesia s/ls but that is sooooo rare. I'll wait and watch and hold out hope and try not to rant about it too much before I actually see how the writers write it...but I'm telling you it better be better-than-good, ya know? |

i never saw the ryan/kendall thing.. when i popped back in after a while it was when ryan was with Greenlee . so naturally i am used to him with her... so if he is going to revert back to 2004 he wont know who annie and emma are . or anyone else that wasnt around.. oh well... lets move on from this one too |
