COMMENT LINE FOR SABINE

I just believe this is one of the small downfalls of life. The effort being put into this ... does anyone put this same effort into getting the word out about childhood illnesses? Homeless families with children? etc. Has anyone put a petition to their lawmakers to help make things better for children in the community? There are children in most communities that are doing without food, home, clothing, and education here and this to me ... isn't as important. I didn't like when Rebecca or many other actors left on their own or due to Frons or someone else. But at some point things become a bit much. To me, this is a bit much. And to not know the full story and only what's been said by someone else who "claims" to be friends with Sabine and the mess that ABC did with the advertizing ... to take it out on someone when we don't know the true story and go on endlessly with protests and all. It's just a bit much that's all. JMO. Here's something to help!! www.getoveritday.com/ I like the Avril song! There's somethings we all get latched into but at some point ... we gotta get over it. Again, if you took this personally ... then ... that's saying something else since I've never spoke to you or seen you post here before. So, take it for face value unless it's touched a sensitive nerve with you!

It is the first time I have posted on the AMC site because it is the first time something got my attention...ie..the commercials on the television about the real Greenlee coming back. I came here to see what the news was about the actress who plays her now, and saw a thread dedicated to the subject. I made a comment, as did others, but you came on the thread to insult our caring about this too much. You did not point to one person, you made a general comment, so of course I took it personally, as did, I am sure, every one else here who cares about this subject. It would have been nice of you to allow people to discuss a topic that concerns them without throwing your judgements at them. The threads title is COMMENT LINE FOR SABINE. |

If you don' like our Sabine support there are many other threads for you to visit. We are keeping ours about Sabine. Thats our right. Just because you don't agree does mean you must put down our cause. |

I didn't say anyone can't have it. I'm having my opinion that this is gone on too long. This is new for you but not for us that have been here since day one. If I have to reiterate it for all the newbies coming aboard and bashing me .... I previously said in umpteen posts that what happened to Sabine was wrong and I didn't mind her in the role. And if you're going to knock me for my opinion to this subject atleast you can do is to inform yourself first so as not to end up with egg on your face.Have fun searching through the threads that I've posted already and inform yourself before you bash me for my opinion. It says COMMENT LINE FOR SABINE. I'm making a comment. I already also said I was glad to have been exposed to her where I would've never been before. |

I in no way bashed you and I have read your posts. You keep telling us to get over it, enough is enough and you are tired of reading our opinions. Maybe we are not wanting to give it a rest as you keep suggesting we do. If all you want to do is put down our cause, why even use this thread. Do we not have a right to talk about what we want on a thread dedicated to our cause. Don't rain on our parade. We don't need all the negativity. |

If Sabine had dropped dead in her tracks, then maybe, and I mean maybe they MIGHT have asked RB if she wanted to come back and be Greenlee again, but, SS is alive and well and still has a contract to fill. Hun you are spending just as much time forcing your opinion on people who obviously do not agree with you, as it takes a person to write a quick letter to ABC and stick it in the mailbox. Nobody is being asked to sacrifice their life or to support Sabine in place of doing good in their lives or community. You're choosing to put your energy into judging the people who disagree with you. As you said there are better things to worry about in this world. As far as your whole spiel you don't know the first thing about me or my life, and unless YOU are out there doing all those things you say we should be doing, you have NO RIGHT to bring up those causes and put them in our faces. In fact I have been raising a terminally ill child for many years and I have lobbied politicians and I've been to the white house more than a half a dozen times. I've watched children waste away and die and so I have to say I do resent that you even step near that issue, or compare it to ANYTHING that is discussed on a SOAP OPERA message board. Life is hard for everyone and things like this, are a distraction. Sometimes people need to worry about things that aren't so overwhelming. Sometimes people need to put effort into helping people when it doesn't make the difference between life and death. Sorry if you don't like how I choose to spend my extra time, but you really have no business assuming anything about the people here or what they've been through or done in their lives to actually make a difference while you've been sitting at your computer typing all sorts of negative and judgmental comments. |

Thank you supportsabine! You have perfectly stated what so many of us feel. I too know about sick children, cancer to be exact. If I want to get my mind off of it for even a minute to write in support of SS I feel that's my business and don't need anyone to tell me to just to get over it. I have a mind of my on. I don't appreciate being told to go to a get over it website either. Sometimes people need to respect others rights and opinions and keep out of our personal lives. Same thing as so many ... 2 "brand-new" who just so happen to come to SupportSabine's side for the first time today. Obviously, ABC don't want you telling them how to run THEIR business. That's why they're not responding. And yes SupportSabine. I do things irl to help others. I'm not badgering a company to impose my will. I'm helping others. SS has lawyers and an agent to help her in her efforts. |

I am new, but have been reading this for a long time. I have read the rules 5 times and still can't find where it says that if one person diagrees with others that they can then talk down to them and their beliefs and opinions. How am I missing this in the rules or is this board privately owned by a poster? |
