ITA Michy. I'm not going to say that I'll never watch again after Sabine leaves, but it will probbaly be a little while-not out of protest but just because it will make me to angry to see it. I will be watching for what Sabine does next.

I luv u guys all!! But we gotta let the whole RB SS thing go! No one will cry if we lose our job. RB & SS won't come to our job and beg for us to come back. We're just another fan.
**ANECDOTE TIME**
I had a manager that was told after 25yrs that he was no longer needed ... he had 30 days to make his contacts work for him to save his pension. We were all bum'd out. It was like a friend just died. I mean we walked around the office like someone really died. We protested and gave sharp remarks to the higher mgrs to show our dislike. The day came that this man had to go and he heard at the last moment that John Doe needed him in his office. He went on to finish his time with the company and retire without losing his pension.

I think the way this was done was horrible ... but I think Sabine will definitely come out on the bright side. I think we should just give it a rest and not give Rebecca a hard time. If I left my job and was on the fence about going back and the owner kept on upping the purse .. when he reached there ... I'm there. That's just my opinion. She's just trying to make a living. And it was horrible the way it was done but now Sabine has a whole new set of fans ... fans she wouldn't have had if she never came on.

Well I'm another old timer who has seen it all in this show. Never ever did I like old Greenlee. She was a b@#$% to everyone. She treated people like something she had stepped on and was trying to get off her high heels. I don't know how Kendall could ever forgive her for all the stunts she did to hurt her. She stole Ryan from her, then flaunted it in her face.I wish that everyone could have seen the real Greenlee in action. She did more bad things to Kendall than Kendall has ever done. She told the whole town about Bianca's being gay just to hurt her. I think those who weren't watching then would be surprised at what a terrible character she played. It was nothing like the current character. I would rather see no Greenlee character than one like we had before.

But don't forget .. the way Greens was written before when it was RB wouldn't have changed if it was SS and people would've felt the same way too. The writers made Greens that way not RB. If the roles were reversed and SS was the first and RB the second Greens ... people would feel the same way.

i have read that sabine, really has been a great sport, she did her job and never threw a fit how she was being treated, it is not the she wanted to leave, she had no choice, and she is leaving with dignity... i think she was the perfect greenlee, she is very similar to the original, i came to really like her, and seen her as greenlee, to me she is the "REAL" greenlee,,i can't figure out why rebecca is just now coming back, why didn't she come back in the 1st place???? anyone??? well, i wish sabine the best of luck, but i am a true AMC fan, and i will always watch!

in some of the commericals they say.."the real greenlee is coming back" .."will she and ryan pick up where they left off"? whats with that stuff???? lol man they are nuts and confusing?

OMG....it is so great to see that people were already upset about this whole, "the real Greenlee is coming back" campaign. I liked RB enough in the role, but Sabine has owned Greenlee since she has been on AMC. Her scenes with Zac in the woods and just this past week with Jack in the park....that was amazing. Simply amazing. (what actress would go days without makeup in order to make the scenes believable? huh?) I actually felt that Jack was talking to his real daughter. It was so moving. I was wondering how Sabine must be taking this whole, "welcome back" thing that AMC has been airing. I think the idea was ill-conceived and in poor taste. I hope the best for Sabine. If she gets another soap role, I will certainly tune in because if she could take a role like Greenlee and turn her into a compassionate person, she will be fantastic in anything.

Soapkid I respect that you are "over it" but those of us who looked forward to Sabine on AMC every day and are now losing her because of this stupid stunt by ABC are not going to be "over it" anytime soon, and I'm not sure why you can't respect that. I think it's great that it's easy for you to rationalize it and move on, but for some of us it might take awhile longer and there's no harm in having a thread or two where we can process all this together. Eventually I'm sure we'll all "move on", and hopefully that will be when Sabine is hired in a new job and we can enjoy her once again on the screen. You coming into every thread saying get over it is not going to change how we feel. It's just disrespectful IMO.

RE: The comment line

When did you try to call? I've heard that it's only open Monday through Friday so maybe there's a cut off time on Friday afternoons? I've called and left several messages and it's always worked. But I haven't tried on weekends.

It's the entire ABC comment line so I can't imagine they'd stop answering because of this, so maybe it's just because of when you called?
