Greenlee Commercial. I Wrote ABC and Re: What an Insult!!!!

It was so pointedly nasty that I couldn't believe it. I first saw the Real Greenlee commercial on Soapnet and I was appalled! I could not believe how crude an vulgar this was. I planned on writing Soapnet to complain; but when I also saw it on ABC, I wrote ABC instead. Well, I received an automated reply. This made me wonder if anyone was going to read my email, so I called ABC's headquarters. The woman who answered the telephone didn't know if anyone reads our emails. Furthermore, there is no one to speak to about our emails to ABC. I think that this commercial is beyond insensitive and ABC should apologize to all of us and especially Sabine Singh. I am sad to see Sabine go. I think that she really grew in the role and finally made it her own. Anyway, regardless of how you feel about Sabine Singh, the insensitivity of the Real Greenlee ad needs to be addressed. This is an unacceptable precedent to set and I feel that we should write to ABC and Soapnet and let them know that we don't appreciate this sort of ad. If enough of us write, some of our emails will have to be seen. Thank you. |

Good for you! I'm sure ABC is trying to dodge it as much as they can. I just feel sorry for Sabine. It is really going to be hard trying to get used to Rebecca. |

You know the bad part of it all? Here's the unfortunate part ... no matter how much we love/hate Rebecca/Sabine ... no matter what side of the coin you're on if you are on the coin ... this is ABCD's Company ... and just like each of us run our homes/businesses ... we/they have every right to do what they want ... since it is their business. Although, it stinks to high heaven the way SS was treated .. I do like RB but ultimately ... this is their call. Just like Trump and his partners with Tara Conner. Whether you agree with them or not ... this is their company. Did you honestly think they cared what we think? I honestly thought they did too to some extent. Unfortunately, we're stuck with the decisions that TPTB decide to do. Just hang in there ... maybe we'll find something out or get something we'd want ... KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED!!! |

I'm not sure how ABC handles their (snail) mail, or if any of the letters will make any difference at all-but I will keep sending them because.. who knows it might actually work-long shot I know but Frons did say that he was bringing back Rebecca because it was what fans wanted so maybe if we(Sabine's fans) show enough support then maybe they will eventually bring her back as a new character on one of the ABC soaps. It may not be probable, but it is possible. |

They most likely will NOT read your emails. PLEASE consider writing a snail mail letter or postcard. Here are the addresses, if you could even just write Julie H.C. and Brian F that would be great. |

IM doing what i can at my end. im makeing phone calls to CBS,NBC news 12 long island, fox, cnn, so im doing what i can to help bring down abc to there knees. you did a great deed. |

Did you guys see the commercial on soapnet. They are having a reunion show for RB,Angie & Jessie on Sat at 2:00pm. It showed a lot of pictures of RB, close up telling everyone she is back. Totally sucks.................. |
