I think a lot of you have some great ideas. I just want to say I agree in regard to Zoe that it was the acting. I loved watching Jeffrey because he was so animated and you never knew what she was going to do next as Zoe.

I love the idea of bringing Dixie back saying that David took her. Instead of kidnapping her, we could say he was helping her to get better and took her away from Pine Valley because he thought it was better but once Dixie got stronger, she returned to continue the search for Kate.

I also love the idea of saying Kendal and Adien dreamt they were together because they had cabin fever.

Bringing Brooke back would be awesome, put her with Jack again. Remember how Erica hated Brooke, especially when she was with Jack.

I too want to see Sabine stay on the show as another character. I think Greenlee's half sister. Her mother had her half sister with Roger. So the new character hates Greenlee because she has Jack as a dad.

It has to be hard to be a writer for these shows. So question, do people suggest everything changes at once or a little at a time? The writers could have the entire past year be a nightmare that Erica had and when she wakes up, things are back to "normal" whatever that is. Just like Dallas did with Bobby and Pamela.

I loved David and wish he was back. He had a neat way of getting even with everyone. It was really funny to watch him get under the skin of the rich and famous. I think he is doing well on The Young and Restless so he probably won't come back. Maybe he has job security there. There sure is none here.

I've only been watching since JR met Babe and introduced her to the family. So much water under that bridge but I'd have them get back together and remarry. Tad and Crystal marrying was a HUGE mistake. Tad and Julia would be great together and would be parents to Kate/Kathy when that happens. I had thought the storyline had been headed there. Crystal will end up with Adam and as loathsome as he is, she might be his only redemtion as a human being.
As for Ritchie, please leave P.V., dead or alive.
Zach, divorce Kendall. He would never ever love someone as selfish, spoiled and nasty as Kendall. He loved Maria so much and she could never be replaced by the likes of Kendall. Amanda and Aidan, okay, that can wowk. Josh and who? I don't know. Hannah, get lost. Leave town with Ritchie and take Ava too. Annie and Ryan, let them be happy. Let Jack move on to someone worthy of his love.
Erica and Kendall are exactly the same, they can just live together and plot things all day.
My, there are a lot of characters to wrangle.

I’ve been watching AMC since the early 1970’s so this took some thought. I love the money is unlimited part that makes my job here much easier. It’s my understanding that the current writers were issued pink slips prior to the Writers Guild Strike so that will save me some time… The first thing I did was to go back and find the top rated periods in AMC History and check the Characters and storylines.
One of the highest rated periods was 1978-79 .. Donna Beck/Chuck Tyler, Palmer/Daisy/ Myra, Cliff/Nina/Syble Thorn… And of course Billy Clyde Tuggle and Estelle and Ray Gardner. Some of the storylines were current then but passé now. I’d go to the Drama & Journalism schools around the country give them different tapes from that er and give them the assignment to use there collective imaginations to bring those characters and their families into the present. Did Cliff and Nina have more children? what are they doing etc.. Make Scholarship awards to anyone who has a script used on the air.
The second thing I might try is cross over episodes with old ABC Series Characters… Hotel, Dynasty, Commish, You have a lot to work with.
Finally with the Soapnet channel available I would do a 6 to 8 part miniseries to finish the idiotic story lines that are in place now so we can get out of the “sick baby mode” we have been relegated to…

first of all put Erica children on the backburner, there not that interesting, let Annie go, Alex Cambias the old man should have never been made to look crazy would have been more interesting, for him and Adam to go at, their were equals, good actor's,pairing these couples right you have a crazy guy in love with Babe, when is this girl going find true love kill the crazy guy take Annie out too, Jonthan, Ava, bring back the vet's and the people that really have made this story, one of the best in daytime, you have Julia and Zach, Dixie with David( bring this actor back) Tad with Brooke) you have all these stong actor's and all you can give us is Kendall no way, give us back or beloved soap opera. and sent Aidan to GH, to many woman so little,men.

i agree with most of u..but think about it,, and lets b fair,,some of the actors and actresses, might not want to come back, or won't..some has moved on to bigger and better,, so lets say u want dixie back,,, and she said NO,, then what, would u recast her?? i would like to see LEO come back and see what greenlee would do?? that character would probably have to b recast, he is on vegas now? right? oo and he was in trasformers too..and is it that the ZOE character doesn't want to come back? or are the writters just being dumb??? does bianca just want to work part-time???? i think the wrenches thrown in would make is much harder....luluspencer i think u could have to job and do a good one..;-) peace
