Yes, the writers would have to think up some way for Dixie to be innocent in her "fake death" so everyone would forgive her. They may have to bring up the whole amnesia story again or something. I really, really, really, want Dixie to come back and I want Tad to sweep her off her feet and be with her again with their kids. Frickin' Krystal can go back to Adam because they totally love each other and should be together even though they're both stupid.

I remember watching Dixie start coughing and choking on those darn pancakes and thinking about how undignified this firing is! Maybe Josh or Zach helped her back from the brink and she decided to pursue finding Kate without any interferance - but people would take too long to forgive...

I think David Hayward has used one of his concoctions to save Dixie. She will come back to PV after she has escaped from David. But she will have found out that Jenny is really Charlotte and use that info to get Adam to tell her about Kate. Finally we, Tad & Dixie fans, get our "together forver"!

Oh yeh! Forgot about her. So has 95% of Pine Valley. But I tell you that attic is working for her. She looks younger every time she appears.

Here are my ideas.

I do NOT think it should be another care of Dixie choosing to stay away. And the amnesia thing was done with Maria. So that leaves two possibilities:

Dixie has been in a coma all this time. It could be David who whisked her away or a new character who can be introduced at the same time Dixie comes back (a new character played by Sabine Singh hehehe... hey I have to TRY to get her in the mix somehow). So Dixie either comes out of the coma and returns, or it is found she has been purposefully kept in a coma and Tad has to find and rescue her.

-Or-

She has been held hostage all this time. Yes a one and a half year hostage ordeal seems a bit long but they do it in the middle east and south america all the time. For what reason, is up to the writers to figure out. Maybe when she was in Europe she got involved in something unsavory and it caught up with her. Somehow she is able to reach out whether to Tad or someone else, and they find out she's alive and go on a rescue mission. ADVENTURE. That's what we need.

Those are my ideas.

I know I am in the minority here, but the way Dixie acted the last time she was on made me hope she doesn't come back. She hid out forever, she was even there at the explosion that killed Ethan and so many. Tad kept calling out to people from above her and she ignored him and continued to hide. She didn't even tell JR even while Di was pretending to be her. All she wanted was to jump Zachs bones.
I like the idea of SS coming back in the role though

Maybe it could be discovered that when she came back last time she was being given a drug that altered her decision making or something, and that the combo of the drug with the poison in the pancakes sent her into a coma. And once she comes out of it she will be back to herself again. Anything that happened during her last return can be explained away, and I hope that if it was that bad (I wasn't watching at the time) that the writers WILL make it RIGHT for her return. That includes bringing SS back with her

I wish we could write the show.

But we dont know about JEFF..Where is he anyway???? POOR GUY...Most likely carried another MOSQUITO (TO BAD IT DIDNT BITE ERICA!!) on HIM ALL THIS time and it FINALLY BIT HIM and GAVE HIM a stronger SHOT OF THE MALARIA and KILLED HIM OFFSCREEN!

So in a NUTSHELL we have to find out what happened to JEFF TOO!

i am thinking along this same line, david left around the same time??? that dixie died? right? i thought that he could of saved her, and she is in a coma, and david has her in another country, he was so CRAZY about her,, and she is still in a coma and she is like a pet for david, and one day she will wake up,,that way she could come back and NO one could b mad at her or blame her for anything, maybe the satin slayer never hurt her, maybe it was david all along?
