Here's an idea; bring Dixie back like Bobbie Ewing of Dallas; Not necessarily showing her in the shower, but make the last year for her a dream; possibly Janet discovers her at Oak Haven where a complete stranger found her wondering around in a catatonic state and dropped her off on the grounds of the institution; and Dixie has flashbacks of awakening and seeking out the stranger.

The latest scandal could be a mad scientist at the morgue who cryogenically freezes everyone who dies and then brings them back to life at his or her will. They could bring Dixie back, along with Trevor, Jillian, and everyone else who has perished from Pine valley. Unfortunately, there will be alot of scarring on Trevore after all the stitches he needed.

I think everyone is making this all to complicated. Bringing Dixie back from the dead for me is easy. Dixie was still very unsure of the direction her relationship with Tad was going. She had just caught him in bed with Crystal and she knew Crystal was having his baby. So she would certainly need to do a lot of thinking before remarrying him! That said, she gets poisoned by the killer. But lets not forget both Dannie Derick Frye's daughter and Babe were poisoned too. Both were thought to be dead. Babe was hidden away in that phony hospital room, and Dannie was whisked away to Hawaii. In both cases to protect them from the killer. After the Killer was caught, Babe came back, but she was almost convinced by Josh to stay dead, so she could leave JR. No real explanation why Dannie never came back. So why is it so hard to believe that Dixie also survived and was sent away for her own protection? Maybe back to Europe, where she continued to search for Kate? That's where she gave birth to her, and she could be both out of the killer's view and not have to deal with Tad's rekindled love and his infidelity with Crystal. Now maybe she has a lead on Kate being in PV too. So she comes back.

This sounds possible, but I can't believe that the "real" character of Dixie could keep screwing with her son JRs feelings. He has buried her enough. How could any mother believably keep doing this to her son. That would be so selfish if she did this for time to think about Tad. If I were Tad and found she had pulled the old death card again, I would tell her to drop dead FOR REAL!!
