It's isn't just my opinion,sorry but when the head of daytime for ABC says it didn't work-you can't get more clear than that.

The majority of the soap press and critics thought it didn't work.

A large amount of the gay community (who live this life-my MTF trans lesbian friend as well)including the biggest site Afterellen said it didn't work.

Numerous soap sites and viewers said it didn't work.

As for BAM I think you will find that they were a ground breaking campaigned for couple-which had not happened before or since,they have legions of fans and sites dedicated to them.Soap magazines consider them a super couple,just a few weeks ago SID was comparing ATWT's gay romance with BAM.Eden herself considered them a super couple and has discribed them as such at fan events.Eden said this February in a soap article that she would love to have Maggie back as they had such passion and love.Any couple who has a love story set over a number of yrs (BAM is 5-6 yrs) is by definition a super couple,Wikipedia desribes them as a super couple as well.

I'm just going by the evidence and the evidence suggests Zoe's sl wasn't popular.If Binks mentions her favoubaly today then there may still be a chance for her,but otherwise if they are just friends there would be no reason to have Zoe on canvas permently whether Bianca returns or not.

Right now i'd sacrifice BAM for Bianca to have a real gay romance with someone played by an actress,not a man playing a lesbian(if you have to have Zoe back have her played by a woman) it is an insult to Bianca's history and the gay community and it just reinforces homophobia by having Eden's love interest be a actor.

haven't watched yet but it looks very good.

oh and i also aske the guy i like if he would like to come over on new years eve and play the disney scene it game.

At least today they did mention Zoe but Bianca isn't with her. They're just friends now.

While i'm glad the s/l has been permantly put to rest and podBinks has gone,I would like to say i'm sorry to Zoe fans-but I did try to warn you.

Frons never intended to continue this s/l-it was a ratings stunt and nothing more.If it had actually been successful then MAYBE there would have been enough fan support for Zoe to return,but when they angered sooo many fans by trying to push a romance with Bianca it burnt all Zoe's bridges.Plus the fact Frons himself basically said it failed-I knew then it was dead in the water.

I felt all along it was a stunt s/l simply because they didn't even bother to try and tell it properly.The facts they gave about the transition process were simplified and sometimes just incorrect.Zoe's transition would have taken yrs and trying to cram as much as possible into not even 6 mths was a insult to the TG community and the long struggle they have to go through.Zoe would have had to live full time as a woman for a yr or more before her gender reassignment consultant would have considered putting her on hormones.She would have had to have mths and mths of councelling sessions with her psychologist before she was deemed psychologically ready for the transition process.But MMT raced ahead of herself and tried to fit all this into a few weeks making the s/l unrealistic and that is why it didn't work for me,alot of the gay community and soap press.

And making Zoe so over the top didn't help in getting the viewers to care about her and her struggle,I know alot of ppl who just found her annoying,which is a shame for daytimes first Trans character.I will say that JC did a good job with the garbage he was written and prehaps he could return to AMC as a new character.And hopefully another soap can do this type of s/l only properly.

As for Bianca I hope the rumours are true and it is her who is returning full time,she proved herself to be the beloved Binks of old when she visited.The podBinks who was needy,rebounding and santimonious during her last visit had disappeared and the real lesbi-Binks returned.I could have done without the Babe loving but you can't have everyting.

I hope if and when she does come home she is allowed a real onscreen,fully developed lesbian romance.My wish would be Bam and I do find it interesting Maggie wasn't mentioned and that Bianca wanted to get back to Paris so quickly-hmm.But even if Bam don't get a second chance so long as Bianca gets the love she wants i'll be happy.
