Zarf/Zoe

I missed Zarf/Zoe and wish they would bring him/her back. Does anyone else miss them? Since they bought Bianca back shouldn't they bring Zarf/Zoe back? I think the 2 of them together is a great story. This is a storyline that was never done before. And i thought AMC did a fantastic job. |

You would think that would be the case, but the idiot of ABC daytime TV, Mr. Brian Frons obviously has other ideas. Jeffrey Carlson was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stale show. His story line with Eden was great from beginning to end. I wish it could continue, and one day, it just might, but the higher ups at ABC are simply tone deaf, and don't hear what the people want. |

I have watched this show for over 30 years and the TG storyline was by far my favorite storyline of all time. One of the best AMC has ever done. Jeffrey Carlson was (and is) a phenominal actor and AMC should be doing everything they can to get him back on the show! Frankly, if he doesn't come back, then AMC will have lost yet another LIFETIME viewer......ME! |

They are likely waiting to see if they will even be able to lure her back for a long-term contract before making any other decisions or commitments. If she chooses not to come back for a long-term storyline, it would be a moot point anyway. At this point, I believe it all hinges on her decision as to whether or not she wants to return. |

I feel sorry for the TG community. They really "put it all out there" when AMC asked to do the storyline and were very supportive of it (as was Jeffrey Carlson in his phenominal portrayal of Zoe). I'm sure the storyline mean't a lot to them, especially in trying to educate mainstream America on what it is like to be TG and how complicated their lives can be, even to just be "accepted" in society. There was so much to left for them to tell and for us to learn. I think it is a disgrace that the idiots in charge didn't even give them the decency of completing the storyline. So much for AMC being the "innovative" soap! To hell with people and their feelings I guess. The funniest part of all of this is, it was the best storyline AMC has done in over 3 years, and the ONLY storyline that gave AMC a really big boost in the ratings. If TPTB cannot see this, then they really are idiots in my mind. I have watched AMC almost my entire life, and the TG storyline was, by far, my favorite. It was interesting and informative, and even received tons of national press and garnered a whole new fan base for the show. (Hence, the boost in ratings!) I just wish we could have learned more. I would love to have had the TG group visit again, and especially would have loved watching Zoe go through transition (and all her trials and tribulations in getting there). I loved the "banter" between Zoe and Josh, and I loved the "bonding" that developed between Zach and Zoe over their fathers. Two totally opposite people bonding over their very similar father figures. The interaction was wonderful and beautiful and resulted in some of the best acting I have ever seen on AMC or anywhere else. In my opinion, AMC had a "gold mine" with this storyline. Too bad they never realized it. I guess like some have said, it was likely nothing more than a "publicity stunt" on Frons part. (Just like the "REAL" Becca commercial they are running now). I never originally thought this to be true and actually thought AMC really cared and wanted to be true to the storyline and to the TG community. I now have my doubts that that was ever really their intention. Such a phenominal storyline, and such a phenominal actor playing the lead part. And TPTB can't understand why AMC in tanking in the ratings! |

It was actually one of the best original s/l that didnt involve people coming back from the dead or eating poisoned pancakes! I really wanted to see Zarf/Zoe on christmas Maybe New Years!

I loved Jeffrey as Zarf/Zoe. He states that he'd come back if time was right and situation *which I'm assuming is $$ too - not that there's anything wrong with that at all* I feel everyone has a time and a price for their time and efforts. |

There is a reason Zoe will probably never return-the s/l didn't work,plus all though it is popular here it wasn't anywhere else.No matter if you are a fan or not the truth is it was badly written and rushed and that was it's down fall,don't give AMC any credit-when they have had over six yrs to tell Bianca's story probably and haven't the chances a short term stunt character getting better treatment is slim.Unless Bianca says she is in love with and involved with Zoe on todays show I wouldn't expect to see Zoe again.She will be mentioned but for me after the sl turning Bianca into podBinks I don't want to see Zoe again.hey don't have the courage to tell a real transition story only give a half lame attempt which was a disservice to the TG community.Let another soap do it and do it better. |

IN YOUR OPINION, the story line didn't work. You see, there is a big difference between you saying the story line didn't work, and actually saying it didn't work. Maggie didn't work!! Because in the end, she cheated on Binks. And please refrain from using pod-Binks because that wasn't the case at all. Maggie was a stunt, and a bad one at that. She wasn't even a real lesbian, and making BAM out to be some type of legendary super couple, is just not accurate. |
