I just hope people can start separating being upset with Rebecca with being upset with those who brought Rebecca back. I'm irritated about it but none of that is Rebecca's fault. So I hope that's clear. I do not think she needed to be brought back and I do not think she should have been. But the bottom line is that she HAS been brought back so I have tried to move on from that. every now and then it still bothers me of course

BUT you are where I am, I would LOVE to see Sabine back in another role. People have been posting ideas and if regular viewers can come up with something then so can TPTB! That's why everyone should write in. Even if you DON'T mind that Rebecca is back, if you do want to see Sabine again I hope you'll write in to show support for both actresses.

I also saw that commercial raving about the "real" Greenlee. I cannot believe that ABC would do such a thing to Sabine. What a slap in the face and she doesn't deserve it. She is doing a wonderful job as Greenlee. When
Rebecca left, I was sad to see her go, as I don't take change well, especially in a soap when these people visit my home very day..but, Sabine is welcome anytime and I am so very, very sorry to see her leave...I will miss her. I cannot think of Rebecca as Greenlee anymore. The character will never be the same again for me and when Rebecca decides to leave the show again, let's just "do her in" never to be seen again. GOOD LUCK, SABINE..HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Of course AMC was covered in the contract. That's already been established. That doesn't change what Sabine was led to believe. But even that aside, I guess yes I would have been upset that she was fired for Rebecca to come back, but what is the BIG problem for me is how Sabine has been treated by ABC to do this. It's unnecessarily mean-spirited and demeaning. Starting with how they told her with only 4 days notice and now with this promotional campaign. I just don't see a reason why they had to go about it in such a callous way. It's inexcusable.

And the fact that Sabine earned any fans at all is entirely to her credit, given that her Greenlee came on the scene with a bone to pick with EVERYONE it seemed, she took Spike, injured him, caused Kendall's other baby to be born early, etc etc. It was a great opportunity and Sabine's own statements in the Soap Opera Digest show she is grateful for it. But her fans that she has earned, we're left out in the cold by this as well. Great that she got the opportunity so we could know who she is, but not great that she was treated horribly or that she was taken away from her fans to make way for Rebecca's one year guest stint.

Play nicely and please refrain from insulting our long time posters. Apparently you have a problem here so why post in the threads just to pick arguments? We're here to voice our opinions which we have a right to do. If you have a problem with Soapy or the others, move on and don't read their post. It's as simple as that!!!!!!!

I hope AMC realizes the ad was an enormous mistake so that they never do that to another actress in the future. I loved Sabine and was devastated when I heard she was leaving. I wish her all the best!

I'm done with these people who either have no one or if they do .. they can't bully them so they come here and try to berate cause the person in their life does it to them and they can't handle it the right way. If it's the same person that keeps on popping up ... then I know why they are bitter. And that's a shame. I'm sure that person would be a shamed of them if they knew how they were acting.
