They played a commercial saying that "The REAL Greenlee returns to AMC on January 16th."


THAT is cold...

I saw that commercial too!!! I was thinking the same thing. Even though I'm a Rebecca fan, I felt like the way that was stated was very harsh and a slap in the face of Sabine. TPTB were dead wrong for that one!!

I was a bit stunned myself watching that but there were SO many on here (the threads) that really wanted Rebecca playing that part. I believe Sabine has grown on many of us and we've just now gotten used to seeing HER as the Greenlee character... and THEN, "yank" her out and stick Rebecca back in. The problem w/that is our memories of Kendall and Zack's relationship w/the Sabine Greenlee is a different kind of memory and it's going to be disturbing somewhat to NOT see the memory of THAT person... but a different person who's playing the SAME PART!!!

HAHAHA... Hope I didn't lose too many of you reading this because "I" almost got lost in my delivery! LOL...

Wow. So did SS have a falling out with TPTB?? What's the reason behind her being let go???

I didn't see the commercial but read it in Soap Opera Weekly. I have to agreen that Sabine has been a great Greenlee. It's really hard to recast an original character. For example, when Kendal was recasted I didn't like Alicia at first but now I can't imagine anyone else playing that part. I think Sabine could have gotten there too. I just hope that Rebecca doesn't change her mind and leave again. i wish Sabine the best of luck. Maybe she can be recasted as Greenlee's sister!

The "real" Greenlee lost me when I read a quote from her, that now that she will be back, the show should turn a corner. I think that is tacky and conceited. I don't like what they have done to Sabine. The calamity that brought about the friendship between Greenlee and Zack will not be the same with a new old Greenlee. I just can't picture it. Today when Greenlee and Zack looked at each other across that room at the hospital was really heart felt and heart warming. How can Rebecca top that or even come close. It took me a while to warm up to Sabine but she has won me over. I wish the actress that took on the Babe part could do something to make us love her and the Babe character again. She lacks the sparkle we got used to with the old Babe. I wish her luck. I wish Sabine lots of luck and success.

That commercial had me so angry that I could not even enjoy Bianca's return, and she is one of my favs. That was just wrong. I liked Rebecca when she was on before, but every time I read any of the comments from her it just infuriates me. Especially since Sabine is the REAL GreenLee to me. If abc wanted RB back so bad and they tried so hard to get her-why couldn't she use that to help Sabine get another role on amc? They gave in to her other demands they might have giving in to that one too. JMO

I saw the commercial today and it absolutely "made me SICK." I hope Rebecca gets treated EXACTLY the same way she and Frons have treated Sabine. I have lost any and all respect I ever had for Rebecca Budig after this little stunt. As far as I am concerned, she can fall flat on her face as Greenlee. I never cared for the Greenlee character to begin, so now I have every reason in the world to absolute despise and hate her! She and Frons are scum in my book!

I think the commercial is rude!! I was just starting to like Sabine.

That commercial is like the last knife in Sabine's back and there twisting it,you would think there bringing the next best thing to god back , give me a break Rebecca ain't all that
