hello this is my first time posting on this board.my name is carolyn.i have 2 teenagers ,a husband and 3 labrador retrivers.i love amc.i have been watching for about 25 years.i am going to enjoy talking toall of you.

No that it matters, but in one of my other posts I said that I was leagally blind, and then in one of my others I said that I loved to read. Just so you all know, I readmost of my books on tape, but I also read a good number f them in Braille. Didn't want you to think I lied about beng visually impared.

Like I said not that it matters to you all.

I don't know how long I have been posting here, but with the folks here, it as if we have known each other forever!

I come in to say hello every once in a while, then I am mostly by another Network. Having said that, One never forgets the ones she loves and that is why you will probably never get rid of me!

I think it's great that you have the ability to still "read". I know a friend of mine years ago tested this devise that if he passed it over a page it would read it for him. I haven't seen him in sometime ... but the corporation I work for was on the cutting edge for these things cause this was like 20years ago. It was so nice to see technology helping in the right direction.

Again, welcome to the board. And it matters to us. Sometimes your situation can put in perspective some other situations we thing are huge ... that really aren't.

A friend of mine has lost an eye to cancer. He has a glass eye ... it's so cool how they have it set so that it moves in conjunction with his other eye. He's able to read a lot ... drive ... and do everything ... you wouldn't ever have known he had one if he didn't tell you.

So, thanks for sharing your situation.

Im glad that you participate know MATTER WHAT..MY MOM WAS LEGALLY BLIND too , I know its hard, BUT YOU DO GREAT!!!
