I want this baby to be Adam's because Adam has never had the chance to raise a child in a nurturing home with two loving and nurturing parents:

Hayley- Adam didn't even know she existed until her
teenage years

JR- total fiasco there. Adam was married to Brooke at the
time ans she was unable to concieve at the time so Adam tricks Dixie who was working for them into getting pregnant. He didn't count on Dixie's or Brooke's reaction.

Skye- he and his first wife adopted her, when his wife died, Adam lost all interest and shipped her off to boardng school,provided for her finanicially, but otherwise paid little attention to her needs.

Colby- Well, no explanation needed there, we've all seen her
in action.

I think Adam and Krystal both deserve that chance to have a good life and to raise a child with two loving parents, something neither one of these people have had. Tad is going to have his hands full getting to know Cathy and trying to catch up on what he has nmissed out on all these years. Any opinions?

Adam, if he pursues this mad quest of his to disown J.R. and kick out his wife and calls (what may be his daughter) names like SPAWN! is going to hurt himself in this process and if he's making everyone pay!!! He'll be paying the biggest price of all. Being lonely is huge!!! He's throwing his pity-party now me, me, what about me??? But when the dust settles and he's sitting in his chair in complete silence, when the Holidays arrive, when everyone else has somebody and he has NOBODY. He'll think twice about all the things he's done and said to the people that love him. Remember J.R. telling him that everyone in that room loved him and knew he loved Charolotte and that the baby could make him happy but Adam chose the LOW ROAD!
I think once Adams gone thru the lonely days and nights he will forgive but it will be a long long time because he's very stubborn and the only one who has a chance of reaching him now is his brother Stuart! IMO

I want Adam to try and have ONE child that he can treat properly and not manipulate or make a princess like Colby. Plus, I honestly like him with Krystal. And I'm tired of Tad getting hurt. And him having a kid that he has to share with Adam if he and Krystal stayed together is horrible.

I think Stuart would've been a great father. He did well with Scott but he wasn't his biologically. That would've been a good storyline too. Because there's a lot of controversy around someone that has some limitations having children. AMC would've broken more ground.

I know that I may make a few people upset, but....
I like Krystal, she has a history and experience like the average Jane-American and stays down to earth even though she married rich. I see how she tries to communicate with Colby just after Colby has jabbed a stake in her heart. I believe that is because she has alot of insight. She was torn with JR so many times and finds a soft-spot for him, Josh has also overwhelmed her, because he loves (is obsessed with) her Daughter. I find it touching how she shows understanding. I find it heartbreaking that through her understanding, she leaves herself open for so much evil.
Adam has never changed in essence. Another Member had once said that he had softened through is love for Krystal. I agree with that completely. He is very short tempered and I can understand that he feels betrayed by Krystal. Still, I can't stop thinking that he is going to be nasty not only because he is disappointed in himself, but because he can't stop loving this soooo real person. One who never had a problem with waiting tables, with dealing with his spoiled and very insecure daughter, one who intergrates with his every emotion and one who looks into his eyes and provides his world with groundbreaking love for him, not his status and not out of fear for her future. Just love and respect.
I feel that she couldn't have told him earlier than now, he needed to grow with that baby, every little gram. I feel that she did the right thing, not only for Babe, but she actually freed the entire family from being bound for nowhere. I want so very much, that Adam is charlotte's father, whether biological or adoptive, because he loves this child. He loves her mother and he loves his life since Krystal came into it. They should get through this and I believe that they shall. Finally, we will see true love exceed false pride and I will enjoy the growing process between them, as they ride out the rough waves until then.

I hope Charlotte is Adam's also, is there a chance that she is! I thought for sure she was Tad's baby. I like Krystal and Adam together also, they do bring out the best in each other.

Well I used to think that Krystal could keep him that way, but I think that this baby thing with Tad is going to turn Adam into the old Adam again. I mean he even wants to disown his son (JR). I guess we are going to have to wait and see.

If I were J.R., him disowning me would be welcoming news!!!

Tad has always seemed closer to J.R. than Adam. Adam even commented to Tad once that he wished he could reach J.R. like Tad does. Adam needs to come off his throne and realize he's not perfect and shouldn't expect his loved ones to be either!
