SR vs JR Cambias

How sick and cruel can a father be to a son? I still don't understand why SR is killing every one and making his son believe he was responsible for his mother's death. Zach was heartbreaking today.

:) It is all about control, my friend......which Sr has lost, and the only way to regain it is to be cruel......I know, I felt bad for Zach , but when Jr "jumped" Sr. ...Kendall should have yanked that thing off her neck. ........I swear, she is not very bright.. ....blessings, 18ww

I agree! He's so handsome and sweet. You can almost see him going thru the abuse when he was a child. Kendall was drawing strength from him because she knew he was doing it to keep her alive and it was killing him to give his father that pic of his mom but he knew how evil Sr. was. I can't wait till they give the crazy coot a heart attack and let's get on w/the romance again, whoever the lucky people r.

I agree! He's so handsome and sweet. You can almost see him going thru the abuse when he was a child. I had tears in my eyes when he was on his knees begging his father, in almost a child like voice when he said 'Please father."

I think her hand were tightly bound and that may be why she didn't pull out the dart. She commented about that in an interview I read about the scene.

How heartbreaking when Zach stood before his father and his father told him he was responsible for his mother's death. Zach looked at Kendall's bound hands as remembered clearly what happened, and the words "You killed my mom." were chilling and it just brought tears to my eyes.

I could not believe that Zach's appeal fell on deaf ears. Alex Sr has no soul.

But, he has got to realize by now that he will never have any true control over Zach as long as Zach's love for Kendall outweighs any feelings, good or bad, that Zach has ever had for his father.

EXACTLY!!! It's all about control. People who need to teach lessons are abusive controllers.

I think Kendall didn't yank it off because her hands are held together by satin ribbons. I am hoping she is able to get free from them in time.

Isn't it interesting that he is choosing to use poison - which is a girly way of killing people? That confused me for a while. I figured a woman was involved. He doesn't fit the profile...I do hope AMC writers bring that out more and explain why he resorted to poison.

Of course it could be so that the victims have a chance to live. Not that they don't live with gunshot wounds too. Hey, they even come back to life - anything is possible in a soap, but I like that they did mention the profiling and type that uses poison, and stay more realistic.

It would be smart for a soap to get into that end of it because Law & Order and those types of shows seem to be really popular. I notice OLTL is also doing a little more of that also.

Good insight. Yes, Zach has what Alexander never had, the love of his life going to the wall for him. That's why he wanted Kendall to go to Ryan. He knew that would destroy Zach. He also knew she wouldn't do it, even if she said she would.

Now, once they are out of this mess, Kendall and Zach need to have their own baby so she stops with the worry about Ryan's attention to Spike. BTW, I think that is probably an emotion that is not selfish but in real life someone may feel threatened if the father of their child had another child with another woman they were involved with, or living or married to. The show confuses this a little to make us think sometimes she is in love with Ryan also, but I do think she is worried about Ryan's attention being divided relative to their son.

I am wondering if Alexander Cambias will now want his company back from Ryan...sure hope not. Hope it is tied up so he can't legally get it.

Thank you. A friend of mine saw it on the internet, and, knowing how much I love children and dogs, sent it to me. I saved at as my wallpaper at work. Every time I look at it, I just have to smile.
