All My Children - MESSAGE BOARDS

On friday's episode when Jesse asked Ryan if he was "that bad of a cop" lol LIKE YEAH you are! Was that supposed to be a joke thrown in there by the writers or does Jesse honestly think he's doing right by the badge??? I didn't watch the show before when Jesse was on it with Angie so I don't know how he was then, but from other posters it seems he used to be a real stand up guy and did right thing, now he's crooked as all get-out!!!

I'm my opinion Jesse is pretty much the same as he was back in the old days.
He grew up on the streets until his loving Aunt took him in.

When he first came on the show, he was still a real handful. Even for his Aunt. But then he met Angie,Greg and Jenny.
Between the three of them. They showed Jesse that he was better then a street thug and he began to believe in himself.

Jesse was and still is a bit of a rogue and he marches to his own drummer.
He has a heart of gold and wants to right all the wrongs, but he has a backassward way of doing it. Bending and even breaking the law to get to the truth.

The viewers now see him as a crooked cop because he is in a position of authority.
But the character of Jesse is doing the same things as he did years ago. He is only looking for the truth and protecting those he loves. Once again in his own backassward way. *L*

I feel that the writers did a grave disservice to the character of Jesse Hubbard,by making him Chief of Police.
It was always a lot more fun when he was butting heads with Derick Frye!

They should have had him join Tad and Aidan in the detective agency.
We would have had three handsome and very talented actors playing against each other. DRAMA and COMEDY all rolled into one!

Sadly we have lost Aidan Turner. *sits in my mourning clothes* I will miss him!!

Tad is on the back burner with really dumb story lines passed to him once in a while. What a waste of a talented actor!

Jesse looks like a crooked cop and allows everyone to blackmail him into doing their bidding. (The old Jesse would have never allowed this)

You are so right! I have complained about Tad and Aiden no longer working together in the agency. There were great storyline opportunities there but to add Jesse would be marvelous!!

I do believe they can make it work with Jesse being Chief of Police but they need to really upgrade his morals. But I really want Tad back in the agency!!! The storylines are endless.
