I must have missed it somewhere, but can someone please explain to my why Stuart was in Adam's clothes the night he was killed.

Stuart wanted to dress up to witness the signing of Adam's will that Scott will run Chandler Enterprises after Adam's death.

Really because Scott found Stuart's clothes in a backpack in Adam's office. If it was that obvious than why did he bring a change of clothes since he lived on the property?
