Not trying to bash anyone for having their favorite characters, but:

How can David fans ENJOY the idea of what he's doing to Amanda? This has NOTHING to do with Jake supposedly kidnapping Trevor and making out like he died. This is all about sticking it to Jake. If David wants "justice," then he should have went forth with pressing charges, in which Amanda could have fought with the document that Krystal had David sign while Amanda was pregnant, stating that he would NOT persue custody. With David TELLING, not asking, but TELLING Amanda that he would steal her baby, she found herself with no other option BUT to lie about the baby's death. Yet and still, David fans refuse to see reason here.

Now, here's what David fans DO see....

They see Zach as being a pig for using Richie's death to blackmail Annie into giving custody of Emma to Ryan.

Same script...different cast. There is no difference between what Zach did and what David is currently doing. If someone breaks the law, it's your right to report it. You don't use their crime to blackmail them with all so you can get what you want. You become nothing more than a common crook yourself. How is Zach wrong, but David isn't? The circumstances might be different, but the blackmailing to get what they want part is the SAME.

i do believe both David and Zach are wrong in what they are doing...... But I still like David and Zach..... so go figure... there is no accounting for taste.. lol.... I guess it is a matter of great acting and wierd reacting...... They are fantasic actors in their roles Zach is more of a likable carachter than David is, but David is written badly and does the best with what he has to work with... I think without the evil Dr Haywire there would be NO SHOW ( pretty much there now according to everyone) I would love to see a good side of David.

I just wish the writers could write with some continuity. A person would think they could remember what they have written in their s/l ie: David's signed promise that he wouldn't go after Amanda's baby. It's a shame that the writers "Pratt" don't give the fans more credit for having "some intellegence".

I also like both actors but really don't like the current s/l.

I think that the actor that plays David is really being wasted, he has a lot of potential and I am surprised he hasn't moved on up.
I think that he is wack job though that is more of a threat to children than Adam and that is saying alot.And he needs to get a grown-up , intelligent woman, not silly little amanda, even if she is beautiful she is still too young and not a good match for him. I also remembered the contract after Miss Chef brought it up.I guess the contract wasn't important enough to Amanda to remember.That whole baby daddy story is beyond belief.And boring. as heck.

Folks its only a story line its not that serious! I love the David character and yes I see where there maybe a double standard but Zach rarely gets called on his bull nor is Ryan, Eric and all the other "saint" like personalities. My loving David has nothing to do with his morals as it does with his flare. The man is delicious! He's cocky, over barring,take charge type of guy who wouldn't like that?! Call me crazy but he's just sexy to me!
