Why are Ryan Ericka and Zack getting away with gas lighting people?

I mean really, some of this stuff is illegal!! and for Ryan to ask Annie why she wants her child(while yes I know she wants to talk to her about that night) but Ryan acts like Annie doesn't love her and that makes me mad!! and as for Ericka and Zack they need to worry about there own kids!!

Are Erica AND kendall even thinking about each other or the 2 boys?Is it all Zack that Kendall is worried about and is Erica just worried about sowing her last wrinkly old oat?
BTW I loved the movie Gaslight, so many people don't know what I am talking about when I refer to GASLIGHTING someone.
