We need a Bring Janet back campaign. What a great time to bring grandma crazy Janet back, protecting her little Amanda from the evil Dr. Dave. Janet's one true attribute is she loves her Amanda and would do anything for her. We need Janet back ! |

No one has listened and it does have great story line opportunities. Now that Amanda is to be written out, (although some have said she will be on occasionally) I suspect no matter what we do, Janet will not arrive on David's doorstep at any time in the near future. But that does not keep me from smiling when thinking about what Janet might do to David. She was a marvelous and complex character! |

I do not remember the exact timing but Chrishell Stause (Amanda) was to leave AMC at the end of her contract a while back but the contract was extended. Maybe someone can tell us when her last days are but I believe it was before the end of 2009. But as I mentioned in my post, some reports are that she might appear occassionly after the move to Los Angeles. I apologize for not being more exact and hopefully there is a viewer out there with actual facts. |
