There doesn't seem to be anyone in Amanda's life to consel her. It is well known that (hardly ever) does a court take a child (totally) from the mother. Even if she has criminal charges against her. Which that is also debatable, since David made it necessary to create this deception. And didn't David provide her with a paper
(before Trevor was born)stating that he wouln't try to take the baby?

"WORD UP" you are so right about Amanda. I can't belive how stupid they have made her. I hope that she's already pregnant w/Jake's baby. And I hope she doesn't come out pg w/David's kid. I cannot stand David. I wish she wouldn't go through with this. And Jake PLEASE get a back bone.Please writers don't do this to Jake and Amanda. Get rid of David. If she does do this and ends up PG I will stop watching AMC.

I can't agree more with all of you. Amanda is stupid beyond belief. I could just smack her. She behaves like a robot so fearful of David and to agree to have another child with him is so ludicrous. I can't bear to look at her whiny face so much so that I won't be able to watch AMC anymore. Between the delay in revealing Stuart's killer, Kendall's flight from justice, Ryan and Erica, Annie Annie Annie - I'm just fed up with the whole show.

:~ I hate to break it to you, but Amanda was NEVER very bright! When she first came on, she was a skank looking to get rich...they've tried to make her seem sensible, but w/all her sleeping around and getting preggers, it's only made her look worse! With a mother in the nuthouse for years, and a dead father, she DOESN'T have anyone to give her counsel, which is why she's the mess she is! Jake is such a crybaby; that's why David takes such perverse pleasure in 'sticking it to him'!

I guess writers forgot that Krystal made David sign a legal document stating that David will NOT come after Trevor. (this took place while Amanda was pregnant and Krystal was jealous) I mean, a LEGALLY BINDING document, and what...the ink on it just evaporated? Bimbo Amanda can't USE that document as her escape?

Remember Amanda is the daughter of "Janet From Another Planet"! Not the sharpest tool in the shed! Besides, why would she be willing to get prego so soon after giving birth! Trevors not even a year old yet! If she hates David so much she could hire a surragate or in-vitro so she don't have to sleep with him. Jake is getting on my nerves. He never liked Amanda in the past and only seems to want her because David also wants her. Amanda agreed to David's scheme to use JR, even to sleep with him and get JR back to drinking so David could gain custody of little A! Know what?! David and Amanda deserve each other! Amanda is beginning to show feelings for David, just don't want to admit that to herself.

I think she's trying to outsmart David by trying to hurry and get pregnant with Jake's baby so that she can get out of signing that contract with David.

I think Davids on to her wanting to get pregant by Jake, sure David knows whats happening since Amanda left with Jake. Wouldn't be surprised when she goes back to Davids he will give her morning after pills, plan B, or something in her food/drink so she does not become pregant with Jake.
