Uhh!! I tivoed the show today and made the mistake of watching it well eating. The writers of this show do such a crappy job of romance it is horrible. I about lost the dinner I was eating while watching the Zendell poetry fest and JR and "Dullisa" moon all over each other. Now I know why Pratt only writes murder story lines, it's because he does such a crappy job at romance.

Usually, before the theme music starts, you can pretty much tell what the show will be about for that day. Whatever they show before the introduction is what the show's going to be about. Once you saw THAT little tid-bit, that should have been your cue to change the station. Personally, Zach and Kendall with the poetry thing is a nice touch. It shows a husband's undying love for his wife; and a wife who realize what she almost threw away TWICE. This is their test of "for better or worse." Sure, we'd rather see fights; arguments; Annie teaching her kid to be an insane liar, etc., but soap operas started out being based on romance.

It is after midnight and I just finished watching the recording of Tuesday's AMC. Like Miss Chef, I thought the romantic side of Zach and Kendall was a nice touch -- a very nice touch. Love their chemistry! They will be missed!! The show is in desperate need of romance and humor.

In real life Kendall's ass would be in jail, Zack would be a single father and Jesse would be fired as chief of police (for covering for Zack & Kendall) and he would be sweeping the floors of the police station, not this annoying poetry crap this is one of the most dumbest s/l I have ever watch, I tivo amc also and what I do is fast forward though all this crap cause I'm starting to get sick of this s/l.

The poetry sl sucks to say the least. Nobody is like that and just makes Zach look even more stupid for staying with that jerk. Gag

I think people forget that Kendall was going to go to jail but Zach & Jesse drugged her and she was put into the secret room. Jesse's reasoning for helping Zach & Kendall was he knows what it's like to be away from his loved ones for 20 years and if he could prevent that from happening with the Slaters then he has to help. Right wrong it's a soap. I think that a reconnection of any kind is great a beautiful poem just adds a nice touch but that's just me.

You say "nobody is like that?" Well, in real life Thorsten Kaye (Zack) is a published poet. Remember the tribute to Mrytle when she passed away? AMC viewers reported that they cried when the beautiful poem was read and wanted copies of it to save. In real life, that was written as well as read by Thorsten. Lyrics for many songs, whether country or rock, often get their beginnings in poetry.

Sadly in real life very few of us are talented enough to write poetry and often we do not understand poetry but thankfully there are some creative souls who to tell of love, loss, humor and even hate with picturesque words.

BJ39 I always agree with you! The poetry was lovely and was delivered in eloquent Thorsten style. I'm glad I have it on my DVR! This pair will be deeply missed.

Thanks! Zach and Kendall will be missed.* I confess to being curious about how Pratt and friends will handle the departure. I really cannot picture Zach being re-cast unless there is at least a year absence.

*Do we really know if Alicia is leaving the show after her baby is born? I read they are both leaving and then read that she is just taking maternity leave. Does anyone know?
