This is the first time that I have ever posted on this message board. I couldn't resist any longer. I am sorry to say that AMC has gotten on my last nerve. There is not one storyline that keeps people involved at this point. They are all so old. Is there anything new on the horizon? I am assuming that they are going to use the Greenlee return as their November sweeps storyline? Do you think that the writers ever read any of the fan feedback? Do you think that they realize that people are jumping ship to watch OLTL or GH? Or worst yet, perhaps moving to the second half hour of Y&R, due to the miserable storylines?

As far as the current storylines go:

Ryan and Erica - Please give me a break! Although I realize that the actors are probably very good friends off camera. Can anyone really believe that Ryan would be attracted to someone of Erica's age? Her arms alone would scare off anyone his age.

Jake and Amanda - My God, Jake is hot, hot, hot. What is she thinking? I'd be moving him in at Wildwind. Why would they mess with the one couple on the show that does have chemistry?

Kendall and Zach - Sick of them always professing their undying love for one another and their family, but the first time that they are tempted, or think the other is dead, they jump into bed with someone else.

JR and Marissa - OMG, no sex appeal at all. Who dresses these people. Jacob Young deserves so much more to work with.

Scott and Annie - They would be a great idea if Scott were a stronger actor. Annie needs to stop snearing constantly. It is so annoying.

BTW - Where has spike been? Who is taking care of him? What about Ian? Did Zach hire back the nanny for him? Erica sure hasn't been taking care of them as she said she would.

So much more fun to watch OLTL or GH! Although I DVR every day, I find myself ff through almost all of this show! I hate to say it, but maybe they need to go on hiatus for a month or two while they move to LA. Think about where they are going and with whom. Just a thought.

Great first post happybaby.most of what I am going to say is conjecture but I believe that this board, which I love the posters btw,is considered an inferior board and what we say is not revalent. As just for instance, Miss Chef and Feie are so witty and dead on in their suggestions I am inclined to believe that the writers either do feel we are stupid or are trying to peeve us off.Or maybe someone needs to hip them to us.
At any rate I do see the demise of AMC before the s/l's wrap up if something pretty amazing doesn't happen. AND THAT IS NOT THE 2ND, 3RD, OR 4TH COMING OF GREENS!!!

When a character is killed off they should remain Dead! I mean come on, how many people have any of us known to come back from the dead! Unless a character "relocates" and returns to Pine Valley, that happens. A dead character no longer exists! AMC and OLTL both take about a year to finish a storyline. Around 3-4 months on one s/l would be long enough, otherwise it lingers in limbo and becomes boring.

I don't watch as nearly as much as I have in the past. I tune in at times cause i'd like to see Adam and everyone elses reaction when JR admits he has cancer, but don't think that will happen for a while. the rest of the stories, well just no longer care.

When is Jake going to realize that Trevor is his child. Amanda is dumber than dumb. I'd take my baby and say good bye to David and let the chips fall where they may. She is so weak. Especially since she didn't want the baby in the first place. Also, when is Jake going to acquire a backbone. David could drop dead, I wouldn't let him or anyone tear my marriage apart.
