On Soapnet, for a couple of years, they had a reality show: So You Want to Be a Soap Star.

Well, hey, we ain't actors. But we are observers. I think they should have a new reality show: So You Want to Be a Soap WRITER.

How much fun would that be? I could win!!!

Great idea...people on this board have way better ideas than the probably-over-paid writers do. The fans have more original ideas for story lines too, instead of the same old stories that they keep feeding us....

I think it’s a good idea. They surely couldn’t do any worse than they have been with Pratt, etc. Frankly, I’m not bowled over by any of the ABC soaps (including OLTL – more rehashed crappola – sorry…).

i have to agree that we have fans and viewers who aor far more artistic and talented to write the storylines better the writers can. some of the fans on the M.B. can lay out a better S/L then the writers and there the ones that should be produceing them.
