Randi’s confident her troubles are over when they receive the security tapes. The tapes, however, have been edited!

If Madison was dead, there would be no need for the Madison parts to be edited. I'm pretty sure that the police to check for editing of the tapes.

Why would he edit the tapes if Madison was dead? Plus, somebody, I forget who, wrote that the writers paid Madison twice as much money to go to LA. Now, if the actress is traveling to LA, then there is no way that her character is gone for good.

I think Maddy's dad is pulling a Stepheno Demure. I mean, this is right up his ally.

Lock up Madison in her room. Fakes his daughters death. and get rid of anything incriminating against his flesh and blood. To protect, and this is where him and Stepheno differs, himself. Stepheno is very protective of his children and is a family man. Stepheno is like a Mafia daddy.

Madison's dad doesn't give a sh about her. But it sounds like he's a very important man. Like a lawyer or business man. I forgot.

I definitely do not think that Madison is dead. It would not make any sense if she were. Even if she did give all that incriminating evidence to the Hubbards, Madison is not one to play all her cards (except at a casino)and roll over and play dead. (couldn't resist)
And also, I do think her father is involved in this, not to help Madison, but keep up "appearances".
I'm new to the board and am looking forward to some good conversations.

I reported in a spoiler that Maddy died. But now that I've SEEN the episode; I don't believe she's dead either.

I don't think she is really dead. We need to see her come back and have a big fight with Randi and then fall off the balcony at Fusion or any place.

I also don't think that Madison is dead. She will return just when the characters involved with her storyline think that life is good. Her father needs to return too because he is a GREAT evil character. They need to expore how his over-bearing and browbeating attitude to Madison has destroyed her psyche...She could be turn out to be the ultimate nut-job and wreak quite a bit of havoc in Pine Valley.

So if Madison told her father she really killed Henry, why would he be working with Madison against the hubbards. What will they gain from this??

I believe Madison when she says that she wants to come clean and start over. But Madison's dad is a VIP. I don't know what he is. He could be a politician. He could be a business man.

If word got out that Mr. VIP's daughter was in a mental institution for murder, it would make him look bad by association. I don't think that he would ever tell on the Hubbards, though. Editing the tapes was just insurance. I don't think he gives a rat's arse about the Hubbards either way.
