jesse most corrupt chief ever?

This guy is corrupt as the day is long. I wish somebody would just shoot him. Covers for randi,and kendall,this is disgusting. He is worse and more corrupt than David |

I agree with you. David and Annie are VILLAINS. THEY are the BAD GUYS. Jesse is SUPPOSED to be the good guy, yet, he's committed more crime than either David or Annie. |

8) My, aren't we harsh! Jesse isn't all THAT bad! I admit they've ruined his character w/his coverups and lies after the fact, but to say that he's committed more crimes than anyone in PV is just a gross exaggeration! Unfortunately, he let the "Godfather" Zach and arrogant Ryan start telling him how to do his job, like he didn't have a mind of his own!!When all this mess is over and everything comes to light, he'll probably turn in his badge willingly b/c he's sick of it all! He needs to start over from scratch w/his best bud Tad; the two of them have hella chemistry together and should start their own business venture; Natalia and Brot can hold down the police force, and yeah, I'd LOVE to see Derek Frye back... |

i have to agree with you feie. when a person that is suppose to uphold the law goes corrupt i feel they are held to a higher standard then the criminals they arrest.so jesse is the most corrupt person in p.v. to me. jmo. |

Yeah. The police ARE held to a much higher standard. It's always worse when the person who wears a badge who's duty is to uphold the law breaks it. When a regular person like Ryan, Zack, Erica breaks the law, well, who cares? Everybody breaks the law in soaps, but when the Chief of Police breaks the law, it's totally different. They are held to a higher standard. We look up to them for protection and to do the right thing. So, for a person to go on about how being a police is a calling and right for them and breaking/bending countless laws for his friends is messed up. People were going on and on about how great it was to have Jesse back. But when he puts on that badge and does most of the last manipulations and scheming. It makes me lose all respect for him. The NOBLE thing for him to do would be to turn in his badge, maybe THEN I could start to respect him more. But right now, I have no respect for a person who abuses his power as a cop. He would be better suited as a bounty hunter or PI. |

He thinks/knows Kendall is innocent. He should have still put her arse in jail. After all, she did confess. And she spent all that time trapped in a room, which is no different from prison. At least in prison, she could keep in contact with her mother. And Jesse, instead of allowing Zack to set Annie up, Jesse should have done REAL POLICE work to PROVE that it wasn't Kendall. Instead of being fixated on Annie, what Jesse should have done is stayed at the Chandler mansion. and keep people looking for clues. Get some evidence. We all know that countless people were after Adam. It is very odd to fixate on one person. First, he fixated on David, and just because he hates David's are, which I can't blame him. He was CONVINCED that David did it. Then, because of Ryan, with no REAL proof he became fixated that Annie did it. This is POOR police work, a police shouldn't fixate on a person, then trying to find proof that they did it. A police should look for evidence after evidence and talk to person after person and allow the evidence to point them in the right direction. MissChef, I don't know much about police work or crime scene, but during a crime scene couldn't Jesse close off the crime scene and have Adam leave to a hotel or avoid that section of his house while Jesse looks for evidence to point him to the killer??? |

Hey, Chef, I don't LOVE Jesse...I used to seriously LIIE him, but since they've ruined his character, I just don't care as much for him and how he's being portrayed as a flunky for the "Godfather" and the a--! I don't like Kendall, period, but I know she didn't have anything to do w/this stupid plan; that's all on Zach, the Almighty! Jesse was dumb enough to go along w/it, and for what??? The Slaters are NOTHING to him; why would he put his career on the line for them?!The Randi/Madison/Henry North thing was equally as stupid! He got himself in over his head, and should quit the force. But gee whiz, don't rake the brother over the coals like he's the town pariah, when EVERYONE in PV is even worse w/their lies, deceits, attempted murders, etc.; as the COP he turned out to be a BIG disappointment. To say he should be shot??? GMAB! |

hubbard fan, i hear what you are saying about they could just shoot the whole town of p.v. up but consider this.even in soapland if even the law is corrupt then it would stand to reason that any and everyone could do any and everything and get away with it so what really would be the point of anything being right or wrong. |

Man guys, EVEN IF THEY ARE INNOCENT, could do whatever the Hell they want because they are Jesse's friend. And innocent people, NOMATTER HOW EVIL THEY ARE, go to jail from being set up. Annie and David. JESSE the Chief of Police set David up. And Zack set Annie up and Jesse allowed him to get away with it. What is this? The Mafia? There needs to be at least ONE clear sense of right and wrong in the soap world, and that SHOULD could from the cops. Cause like you said, if the cops are corrupt, then people could do anything that they want. Then right and wrong REALLY doesn't matter. They writers have screwed up big time here and the proper thing for Jesse to do is retire as a cop. |

The more I think about it the storyline is more interesting with Chief Jesse covering up for everyone. He was really trying to help Randi after she told him about the attempted rape, Henry trying to blackmail her to lay off Jesse, and for the baby. Also to help Kendall b/c he really thinks she did not kill Stuart and Zach was blackmailing him in the first place. He really should have told Zach about Madison being the real killer, but then again Zach knows that he had covered it up by taking Henry's body out of the room, etc. etc. etc. These folks seem to get themselves in all kinds of mess. But really I would be bored to tears if no one had an affair, Jesse was a by the book Chief, no who the daddy, or crazy men and women period. |

i still say that the police chief has to be clean. I f jesse wants to inflict his own justice and be a vigilante, so be it, but he cannot be the chief of police. |
