Colby Question

Are they reacasting Colby because the current actress did not want to move to LA? Her character has become quite boring since her start in PV I hope that with the new actress comes a new s/l for her. I am littler over her whoas me act all the time. |

Not sure how to answer your question. First AMC isn't moving ANY kids, including Colby, to LA. So any characters they keep will have to be recast using someone that already lives in the LA area. Which is what they're doing with this one. The character,Colby, has been recast a bunch of times in the past couple of years though. Just when you think they got it right something seems to happen. I don't have a problem with the current Colby though. She only does/says what the writers write for her character. This goes for all actors on any soap. Some actors do 'over act' like Ryan does. He always has this mean 'in your face' unless he's with Erica:) She's another whole subject though. I swear if she 'flips' her hair one more time I'm going to give her a buzz cut! LOL |

I thought this Colby was stiff and nonexpressive when she first came on the show. But she grew into her part and she has had some scenes that were really good. She grew on me too. I will hate to see her go. I hope she has good luck with whatever she does after All My Children. |

LOL OMG, I thought I was the only fan that absolutely goes nuts when she (Erica) does that flippy stuff  ..............It just seems that she is sooooooooooooooo into herself.
