I think that Thorsten Kaye and Alicia Minshaw are the smart ones if they don't go to LA. Without better storylines this soap cannot be saved. It will move to LA and die and all the actors/actresses who've uprooted their families to go out there will be out of work in 6 months.
The show has gone through a succession of writers - each group worse than the ones before. I hate to sound like a broken record but they're just not writing for women in the 21st century - no birth control, no forethought, no dynamic women. Instead we are treated to old storylines - unintended pregnancies, who's the daddy?, doctors and lawyers who are too stupid to run DNA tests, the "beautiful prostitute with the heart of gold" - how many of those do you know????
Where's the REAL stories for REAL women? How about some REAL romance? REAL women being sought after - instead of hookers, drug addicts and high school dropouts always getting the handsome husband. How about having smart, sexy, tough women instead of drama queens?
Today's episode made me gag. The righteous vigilantes of Pine Valley kidnap a woman and imprison her to get her to confess to crime THEY are sure she committed. How sick is that? If that's the storyline that they've given Kendall, Zach and Aidan, then the actors should get off that show as soon as possible. It's a loser.

Well, this doesn't surprise me? Victor Newman, Nikki & Kay are the backbone of the Y&R & they say Victor is leaving..he made that show!
Now..Zach is leaving? He IS this show! Without him? There is NO HUNK on the show. He is the Victor of AMC. Keep your peon actors on the show & when he goes...so does your ratings I am afraid. He is a Heart Throb. I heard he was going on the B&B? If he does? Watch their ratings go UP...just like they did when Brad Carlton went there! They will be the #1 Soap & they Will be going to an hour long before you know it! I know his wife play Marty on One Life to Live but never has been a good soap? Don't go there! or....maybe he can move to Y&R?? Now that would up that rating!!!!! heck he would just have old Adam bumped off for good..
PLEASE don't let Zach go??? Pay him whatever it is for he is worth it! Old Charles keep thinking that Action Man is Ryan & you will loose your socks Buddy!

Oldgraymare, I agree with you 100%. Especially about the actors who chose not to make the move. So now they have Zach, Kendall and Aidan kidnap Annie. And happen to have a designer hood to cover her head. Did you notice it was all sewn up to fit just right? They have her in the not so soundproof room which puts Kendall roaming ever more so free around the house. If Kendall could hear everything going on outside the room I'm sure Annie will, too. Oh, yeah, silly me, the writers will conveniently make the room soundproof again.

If AM leaves, I just hope the writers do Zen good and allow them to be happy and "ride off into the sunset" together with their kids. Re-casting would definately not work IMO. I will miss TK, but I admire his sticking with his family and not being away to work. I wish TK the best in his career. He's such a good actor and gorgeous, he should be on the big screen!

So sorry to lose Zack but I think you'll probably all keep watching. I'll be happy to have Kendall gone. Erica and Ryan can stay in New York too. David, Madison, Annie, Adam, and Scott too. I would not miss any of those seven. Gosh, who's left that I want to watch? Tad, Krystal, Jake, Amanda,and the Hubbards. JR, Colby, Aiden, Taylor too, oops, three of them are gone too, I guess. Come to think of it, maybe I'll stop watching too.

there has been a rumor going around that Thorston Kaye (Zac)
may be moving back to oltl as Patrick Thornheart. I don't know this for sure, but I do promise you if this is true, then you will not miss him at all, he was great on oltl as Patrick, as good if not better than, Zac....and what a story line tht would be for oltl....

I can understand Zach not making the move to L.A. but i sure won't care to watch anymore.. after the move to L.A. DOOL's ratings are sure to rise, because of the boring kendall prisondrama & the draggin out everything i have been watching DOOL's some and now i'm getting into it, so i'm moving out of Pine Valley myself ...i will miss Jake& Amanda,Frankie & Randi,JR,Liza,Jesse & Angie Thats about it, definately won't miss Kendall,Annie,Ryan,Scott .& right on down the line...... Goodbye Zach... gonna miss you most

No Zach....What happens 2 Kendall now. The show wont b the same without Zach.

Zach is so hot, and Kendall needs to get over herself and quit being so needy. Zach is all Man and has proven his loyalty to his family (even if he is a bad boy). I will be very sad to see him go, and you're right, know one can replace him so they may as well kill him off. When is this move suppose to happen? They should get rid of Scott and keep Zach

It is really sad that Zack will no longer be a part of AMC. I'll miss his character, but at the same time, they could have put Aidan in the story more to take up where Zack leaves off. I like the idea that he could have been the one there for Greenlee when she comes back. If they get rid of all of the hunky guys, why watch?
