Quote shygurl: Like i said about Monday show, i feel bad for Madison, and after watching her today i see that the writers are going to redeem her character. I really believe that Frankie is going to help her and stick by her especialy now that she told Frankie that she killed her husband, thats when i new that she wasn't playing any more games. I think they are going to form a really good friendship and then they are going to fall in love. I would really just like for Frankie to be a good friend to her and show her that she can be a good person without hurting people, but i just think with the attention he gives her being she nerver had it from her parents or her husband, they are going to fall in love. So my question is where would that leave Randi? because Frankie family love Randi. shygurl, that's exactly what I thought after watching yesterday's episode where we got to see Madison's interaction with her father in the hospital. Then my suspicions were confirmed when I just learned (Boy, am I late!) that Stephanie Gatschet will be making the move to LA so Madison is definitely staying. And as I mentioned in another post, her background is very similar to another Pine Valley alumni: Greenlee. Granted, Greenlee didn't kill her husband, tried to pin his murder on someone else and torture a beloved family, but their family backgrounds parallel one another. Hell, its not like she's the first PV resident to murder someone and continue to walk the streets, ahem*Annie*ahem. Now all she needs is the love of a good man to change her ways |

Yes, gotta feel sorry for how Madison's family treats her but she has done unspeakable things, including murder and blackmail. What bothers me the most is, no surprise, the writers! Did I miss something or did Madison change from bad to good overnight? One show she's still blackmailing the Hubbards and the very next show she's remorseful. So quick was the dramatic change, I thought the writers were going to do the split personality storyline. And this lost key thing, please... No one knew she was being transported to Oak Haven and no one would've known she had the key. It would have to be still in the car. By the way, banks, under no circumstance except a court order, will allow a safe deposit box to be opened without both keys. (one the bank holds, the other the individual holds) Bottom line for me with Madison is I'm glad she's becoming good. I like the actress and think she can spice things up once all the regulars are gone. |

I mean, is she being sincere when she says she's sorry. I'm sorry, but is she bipolar or something? You just doing go from bad to good over night. |

I don’t feel sorry for her. Instead of getting a job and using all of the advantages that she did have growing up she chose to put the screws to Frankie. That he still gives a damn about her is a reflection of his character NOT her worth. She’s actually been as loathsome as Henry was – even moreso in that I don’t think he killed anyone before she killed him. So she has an ounce of good in her – too little, too late. |

And that's what I hate about the progression of this storyline: the speed from bad to good. I feel like it's an easy and quick way to let the audience feel sorry for the "bad girl." Like I said, I'm one of the very few people that like Madison as a villainess but I would have not been angry if they decided to turn her good........in a slow pace. They have time, I don't know what the rush is about. What they should have done is just slowly showing her vulnerable, broken side. Bringing the father in was a good aspect in showing that side of her. But now I feel like we're forced to like her or feel sympathy for her all in one swoop. It's too fast. I like her as a b****, but I'll be damned if the writers try to make her into a saint overnight. |

I forgot about her father telling her to stop being lazy, spending all of his money and to get a job. She likes to complain about her family. But she has so much advantage from being rich. If she wanted a job, she could easily find one. And if she would honestly, sincerely start being nice to people and stop being manipulative, then people would like her. |

I notice another thing, they have to many women then men in P.V. thats why they have so many love triangles, they need some more men on the show. And one other thing i really don't want to see Randi get hurt because i like her but somebody going to. |

Now all she needs is the love of a good man to change her ways Why does everyone always remember that Annie is a murderer walking around PV? She at least has a somewhat excuse. She's a nut...She needs help. Tad killed the Dr. and no one seems to remember that. I also think that Erica and Adam killed people and got away with it some time back. Why are all the other killers in PV not judged as harshly as Annie. I don't even like Annie, but fair is fair. |

Now that I think about it, didn't Erica confess to killing "Frankie" Stone, and didn't she kill Kent Bogard for having an affair with Connie Wilkes (who was impersonating Silver Kane, her sister). She's still walking around PV being beloved and wearing 1980's fashions (one shoulder dresses)... |

You're right, so many people in PV have murdered. Erica even buried a guy (can't remember who) in her back yard. She did it with a couple other ladies, including, I think, Janet from another Planet. But you have to remember, the writers have only two story lines: Who done it? - and - Who's your daddy? Back to Madison, she was so bad I could barely stand watching her but I like the actress and was hoping she'd stay when the show moved. Her change was just too fast. I think she really is turning good so she could be the spoiler between Frankie and Randi. Frankie's such an idiot, how did he ever graduate medical school? I'm glad Annie is back on the street, crazy or sane, she makes me laugh with those looks she gives. |

Why are all the other killers in PV not judged as harshly as Annie. I don't even like Annie, but fair is fair. I agree with you. People judge Annie harshly for killing Ritchie a man that a lot of people in P.V. wanted dead. Erica Kane killed. Tad Martin killed. Yet, they are so beloved by everybody in PV and the members here. David is no saint, but at least he never killed anybody. And Annie is crazy and killed her evil, crazy brother that again, everybody wanted dead. Tad killed Dr. Madden. You can turn the blind eye to Tad and not to Annie? I don't get it. I enjoy watching Annie. She's interesting and at least she's a nutcase. That's her excuse. She's crazy. What's Tad's excuse. Then again, I'm sure some people would come up with all the excuses in the world for their favourite character. Pfft. I have also noticed that there isn't enough men in the show. Maybe AMC should hire men from Chip n Dales |
