This is what I mentioned in another thread. Characters just disappear, and writers don't bother with the common courtesy of telling viewers who went where. The last I HEARD of her, was when Erica asked Jack about her, and Jack responded, "Carmen and I are fine." The last time I SAW her, was January 5, 2009. Other than that, writers pulled another magic act and made her disappear. I know it's very frustrating and it doesn't give the fans closure.
