on the part of so many on this site. There's too much "I'm gonna quit watching if this happens, or that happens, or this doesn't happen." I may not be happy about some of the things on the show and I am not happy about the move, but its harder to read the message board than it is to watch the show. I used to enjoy the message board, but now its mostly negative stuff. Some posters are already writing the obit for AMC without giving it a chance. Come on folks. Its a soap.

Yes it is just a soap, but if people, like myself, are faithful and watch the show on a daily basis we deserve some good stories! I agree way too many loose ends being left out there. I would like to see some good old fashion unfaithfulness (hehe) and some tearjerker moments (espeically when cast members are leaving).

Regarding your rendition of negativity. If you were a long time viewer like I am, literally since first episode, this was a soap you couldn't tear yourself away from. Now it has become boring, transparent, ridiculous, too many new stupid people who get away with everything and anything,. Nobody goes to prison for the stuff they pull, all the stuff Dr. David has done over the years, and now is chief of staff, its just totally absurd. There is NOTHING good about this soap anymore. I don't even bother watching it, I follow whats going on strictly through message board., If you dont like the negativity, stop reading the posts. Very simple. There is nothing positive about this show anymore.
The writing is horrendous, I'm actually shocked it hasn't been cancelled yet. The story lines never seem to end, they get dragged on for months and months, and it's sickening. Dr. David needs a brain transplant, I think he's just insane. The mere fact that a DNA test was never performed is/was the last straw. When something positive happens, if that ever happens, I'm sure it will be posted, Till then, this is the place for posters to vent, be it positive or negative.

One more thing, how people can allow themselves to be constantly manipulated by Hayward just astounds me. He's not superhuman, why is this allowed? Why hasn't someone shot him yet, he's poisoned people, how does he still have a medical license? The writers are absurd and insulting, and I think thats what has people peeved. We're being made fools and thats whats annoying people. GL, which was very well written, ends up being cancelled, while this garbage remains on the air. Enough already.

Erica wants to claw Carmen's eyes out for dating Jack, after she TOLD HER to date him. She went on and on about how friends shouldn't date friends ex-boyfriends. However, she doesn't seem to mind dating her grandson's dad...her DAUGHTER'S ex-lover! Who is Erica to talk about anybody? How hypocritical? She's also apart of the, "Liza Better Not Steal Zach" team, yet, again, she doesn't mind sleeping with someone's ex.

David Hayward...it was never found out that he blackmailed Joe out of the Chief Of Staff position. After living in the Chandler tunnels all this time; never making himself known; he comes out as soon as Babe dies, and then preaches to JR about how he (JR)wronged Babe? Not only that, he comes off as being obsessed with children, yet, he never made himself known to Babe. He hid in the tunnels and watched. Didn't seem to eager to be a dad, but he can point the finger of blame on everyone else. It's JR's fault Babe died according to him. But where was he? If he cared about being a dad, he wouldn't have hid.

Then there's Liza. She was angry at Kendall for not being honest about the whole switch-a-roo thing they've got going on. But, she agreed to deceive everyone about baby Stuart. She went along with a plan to adopt Amanda's baby all so David won't get him. When she thought it was Amanda's baby, did she adopt him and leave town? No....she flaunted the baby in front of Amanda and David. For someone who THOUGHT the baby was Amanda and David's, why not leave town? Now that she knows the baby she adopted was someone elses, you think she would come clean about NOT being pregnant? Noooo, she still has Colby thinking she gave birth to baby Stuart. Didn't utter one word about adopting or being a part of an ellaborate scheme.

Annie...fakes her daughter's kidnapping, causing her to nearly burn to death in a church in Puerto Rico. Kills her brother, and now this latest stunt, allowing Kendall to go down for murder all so she can continue to sponge off Adam, while it appears Adam is completely fooled by this. Adam is way too smart and I don't understand how writers can have him so gullible now. Unless this is an act.

This show sucks period! It will help to have the idiot zach gone but it is to far gone for recovery. Everybody in this town should be in jail. Its like a loony bin.

Whoa! I didn't mean to start a major diasagreement here or insinuate that I think all is well. I have watched for at least 10 years and Mama has watched for as long as its been on. I don't like the loose ends or the way they did Sabine and Brook and some of the story lines are just stupid. All I was trying to say is, I keep watching because I want to see whats gonna happen next. I get upset when a charactor has a personality change or a couple I like breaks up. And plenty of times I thouht I can't watch if such and such happens, but I'm a stuck in the mud, hard headed, amc fan, and I know that no matter what kind of stupid turn it takes, I am probably going to be right there in front of my tv watching it. I know they treat us like we are morons sometimes, but you ought to meet some of the people I know in the "real world". Drama, drama, drama. Amc is my escape and the charactors are like friends. Sometimes smart, sometimes funny, sometimes just downright stupid. But bad storylines eventually go away and along the way we have truly bright spots like Natalia and Madison and the spider. For all the bad stuff, there is some good stuff too. I am sorry if I offended anyone.

Thats another thing, ty for bringing it up. What they did to poor Brooke, afte what, 30 years of being on the show, started the decline for me. That was so tasteless and thoughtless. The writers of this show have no respect for the actors, or the viewers. They wrote Brooke off, who was an very very intricate part of the show for many many years, like she never existed. Poor Trever, one of the highlights of the show, ended up in a damn freezer. Give me a break, they both deserved better. This was a show that used to break boundaries. They spoke of abortion, birth control, so many things that were unheard of on soaps. Nobody has safe sex, which is a disgrace in this day and age, especially for teen viewers, not a good example. Tired of the baby switching garbage, the whose the daddy stories, its just beyond pathetic. Ryan and Erica, is by far, the last straw for me. And where is poor Jack? Did they dump him too? Ruth has gone by the wayside, all these spawn kids that pop up out of nowhere, give us a break. I think it's the newer viewers who like the show now, the oldies can see the changes that have been made, and arent happy about it. It's very sad to see a once wonderful soap, turn into pure garbage.
