All My Children - MESSAGE BOARDS

Hello everyone i am new here in the board.I have been following all my children for a long time but my favourite character is the only and sexiest man is Ryan Lavery. I really liked him and gillian together they were so cute. I have been reading people's post here and i am just wondering and sorry to make anyone angry. It's just many soaps fan don't like the older and young men and women relationships on the soaps but what about real life why doesn't anyone say anything abt it everyday we see lots of older men going for younger women but most people don't have a say in it which is totally wrong.

All i am saying to me since ryan is my favourite character and i have loved him for many years the only person i could put up with him is Gillian or Greenlee. I am sure people are gonna disagree with me but thats just my point of view. Nice meeting y'all

Hi CatherineB...welcome to the board...boy did you just open a can of worms....an awful lot of people on this board are over and done with Ryan....you'll be hearing from them soon... This is a great board and the folks here are awesome...funny and with a lot of insight...I've been watching since the mid 70's and I have to admit that I DON'T like Ryan....Keep On Postin'!!

Personally, I can't stand Ryan. I wish they would get rid of his character. He is a shallow person with NO integrity.

and so you want ryan with erica because why, i am confused.also i so wish i had the article where in real life susan lucci said cameron was like a son to her and her husband.i believe that cameron is about the same age as susan's grown children.and for the record if there is a real couple out there with the same relationship as erica and ryan have, the same history, i.e. , slept with her daughter,step daughter , a woman greenlee that erica hated, her ex-husband's daughter and generally a man that will go to bed with anyone in a skirt, yes i would denounce it and be disgusted by it. so no double standard here.at first i thought you were actually cameron posting as so many of the posters on this site cannot stand ryan, the actor,not cameron the person, although this run with erica is making me question the intergrity of both susan and cameron. welcome to the board, it is a lively bunch of good people.

As I have mentioned before, the writers have ruined the Ryan character big time. I do not believe there is any way to save him. I was sad when it was said that Cameron is moving to L. A. because unless the writers perform magic, his role as Ryan cannot be a good career move. I believe he would be smarter to gracefully walk away before Ryan's ship sinks.

As I have also mentioned, I have no problem with cougers on a soap or in real life. However, Erica being with the father of her grandchild is just plain yucky!! When Greenlee returns she will have to deal with Ryan/Kendall and Ryan/Erica. As I said, Cameron should remain in N.Y.

ITA.cameron may never recover from this. i never liked him or found him attractive, but i can see he had marketablity, not so sure now.
