What are your thoughts on Tad killing Dr. Madden?

I know he didn't mean to do it, but the fact remains a murder took place. Is everyone just going to sweep this under the carpet. |

given the situation...i think tad had every right....but to leave him under there for a month...idk...but tad needed answers...a bit drastic yes but what else was he to do...and as far as tad being a murder? i dont think so...it wasnt intended and it was an earthquake not tad directly |

No Tad didn't kill him but he did torture the guy. He should get punished for that at least. But it's a soap, Tad will probable never serve time. |

That is reckless homicide if nothing else. I agree that Greg Madden was a horrible human being, but no one, has the right to do that to another person. Also it doesn't fit Tad's personality. I have been watching this show on and off for 20 years, and Tad has never been portrayed as that evil or cruel. He belongs in jail. They had Father Clarence saying that God forgave him and I agree that God would, but God also expects us to own up to our sins and take responsibility for them. If they are going to use a priest than they need to use him correctly. A priest would tell him he needed to confess to the police and own up to his crime before God would forgive him. |

Also this is why they killed off Dixie. She just about said the same thing in her blog and the show did not like that. They fired her. |

Another bit of news. Did you know that her and Tad had their conflicts on and off during their time together on the show. They disagreed a lot. They managed to overcome a lot of it but still fought a lot. |

Until a few days ago I didn't even realize there was a message board. It is nice to be able to chat with people who watch the show and know stuff that I do not. I have enjoyed the show more since I signed onto this message board. |

Do you also know that Babe and Jamie are married in real life. They said that their contracts are up about a month apart from one another and that they are both seriously looking into expanding their careers. No word on how long Babe will be staying with AMC. Jamie well, not much going on there. |

Jamie well, not much going on there. Yes I did know that but I think I got the information from the message boards. I did not like Babe in the beginning but she has grown on me an now I would feel bad if she didn't stay. Jamie is just boring or obnoxious, I have not liked him since he hooked up with Babe. He basically pulled the same stalking stunt as Josh, constantly insisting that the baby might be his, and trying to get Babe away from JR. Not a nice thing for a brother to do. |

I also thought that Jamie dumping Babe when she tried to set him free so he could have the money to become a doctor was also crappy. I mean one minute he loves her and the next it is over? Huh? I wouldn't trust his love as far as I could throw it. |

Yeah, I lost some respect for him after that. How smart could he be if he couldn't see that. And he wants to be a doctor. |

Yes I am calling it a night as well. I read Dixie's blog, and you were so right, we both thought that not having Tad face his crime and confess to police was morally wrong. |
