the move and losing some of our favorite charactors, just like the rest of you. It will not be the same All my Children that we have watched and loved for all these years. Maybe we need to have a moment of silence or a memorial for the way things were. But I am not willing to write it off yet. I was unhappy with Sabine when she first replaced Rebecca as Greenlee. But then after I gave her a chance, I grew to prefer her. She added a sweet strength to the character. Are the charactors that we love who Are gong west going to be enough to carry the show? I don't know. But I am willing to give them a chance. I am not ready to throw in the towel. I will miss Zack the most, and then the Zack And Kendall pairing, but their families come first and that is way it should be. I am anxious to see what TPTB are going to do to save the show and keep us watching. It is going to be interesting to see if its enough to keep us after the move. I really do hope so.

There are too many things to be unhappy about going on in the show anymore. Some of the favorite characters not making the move, the way the Stuart murder is being dragged out, the ridiculous Madison story-line, and the very silly David/Amanda/Jake story-line, the stupid way Kendall is acting, Ryan and Erica together, and finally the way the writers must think all of the viewers are idiots and keep writing such implausible and boring stories.
How disappointed Agnes Nixon must be to see her show being ruined.

it is just a p.r. move that the writers are taking advantage of.the move to ca. has absolutely nothing to do with what actors will or will not move. for some reason the writers felt that this would bust ratings as fans would worry about their favorite actors.it is and always will be about the money and they wil keep or get rid of actors for that reason and that reason only.as proof why do you think with as many people sick of ryan they still keep camaron??because he is cheap and no one else wnats him and it serves their purpose as they think we love to hate ryan.

I love to avoid Ryan... Having been a viewer since the early 80's (think Jenny and Greg, with a big dash of Liza on top), the show has managed to bore the hell out of me since the early 2000's... I still watch every now and again, but it is no longer mandatory for me. I have watched this stupid dance thingy and, well, ugh.... The whole show is pretty much ugh for me... Too bad. RIP All My Children... I have a feeling that the move to L.A. isn't going to be able to salvage this waning show....

I agree. I am already sad and in mourning .....It will not be the same. They (the powers that be) know this will be the end of the show. How dare they move people out there and disrupt their lives when it will only be another year or so before Pine Valley is off the map. I will go thru withdrawal and grieve for a long time to come. I have time for about 40 min a day of tv and that is what I choose to veg out to!!!

I think that we, as intelligent, loyal fans have the capacity to eccept a lot with the mantra" it's only a soap". The loyal viewers have hung in there, some people stray and pick up again, some drift away. I know soaps have declined in years..lots of different reasons, but offer a good program and we will come. Show us our loyality means something!

:~ Hello people....This is my first time here, I've been reading everything everyone posts and I'm so sad to see so many not making the move to LA. I don't blame them, family first. I've watch since Erica married Jeff and all the ups and downs, comings and goings, and their highs and lows, but lately it's been awful. Like a lot of you, I loved Kendall and Zack...they were my favorite couple...The writers are just plain crazy lately. I find myself not watching and more reading the updates so I don't have to watch. Can't they give someone a quick happy ever after story now instead...like Amanda and Jake...anything to make the show less gloomy in times like this....my own opinion.

I totally agree with so many of you. I will miss Zack (TK) the most, as well as the Zack-Kendall chemistry, but family should come first. AMC will not be the same however. I think that the writers/producers whoever, are underestimating the damage that will be done by losing some of the very best actors.

you all are right that the soap wont survive the move.
BUT'' i have posted this sooooo'' many times so please' listen up' BRIAN FRONS ABC'S PRESEDENT DAY TIME SOAPS is the PROBLEM. a couple of years ago, some of us fans looked up BRIAN FRONS and even i read how he took three or fore soap RIGHT DOWN THE TUBS. there were search for tomorrow, the ege of night, another world, sunset beach, loving and more that i cant bring up. sunset i think i remember,loving, there were two more posted that frons destroyed and thats what frons dos best. he was kicked out of NBC. YES'. he is destroying AMC. next year he is taking OLTL off the air. unfortunately, there is no way of getting of him we tried and faild. frons has to much pull right now. but something will happen to him, something bad.
it' will happen when it's time and then we will have our soaps back.
