question about california move
terrylee45
how are they going to convince us that california is pennsylvania? or is everyone going to exist in an alternate universe?...........instead of popping over to new york for shopping and stuff are they going to go to san francisco or seattle?.and instead of statesville,it's alcatraz
what is the storyline supposed to be for changing the location of a fictional town in pa? to a state where you have fires, earthquakes, smog,no money in the government, major housing problems............ is pine valley suppossed to be destroyed by a giant sinkhole? or wiped off the map by another tornado?
again--what is the storyline to be for changing from one coast to another...........moving everyone out there seems expensive to me for someone's who's looking to save money...

I believe the setting will still be the fictional Pine Valley and they will continue referring to trips to NY. Only the actual production will be in LA. That's my understanding.

Props!
I never really pay much attention to soap opera locations as fictional as they are.
Califronia is known for creating location props for many stories/movies.
Did you know many movies are not filmed in the locations where you think they are?
I was in Cabos San Lucas when they filmed Brad Pitt's movie TROY. How's that for building location props.

I was wondering the same thing...and yes I agree that moving everyone out would be expensive. Just seems like they don't care about the fans.
