Looks like the Non-Contract players are not invited to Cali for the move. What will they do?

-OPAL= Maybe get Dorothy Lyman back as the wacky Opal
-RUTH= Recast with an older actress who will actually make some appearances, but will Joe go too? If not, have them retire to Florida
-KIDS=they could age some of the kids aka: Emma, Little A.
-PETE=Recast and make a bit older and hunkier and really have a romance with Colby
-JACKSON=Time to come home!

I just wish someone would explain the differance between contract and non contract players.The just wait by the phone for Pratt Boy to say I will be needing in 4 days??

I've watched the show for 30 years now...may be time for me to stop if they are going to lose everyone.

i thought i read that non-contracts players might be invited to move, but they would have to incur their own costs in moving... i can't believe they wouldn't invite Jill Larson... the show would suck without Opal

Is this true that Opal is not going to California? Again, bring back Dorothy Lyman as Opal; bring back the Tyler family, Chuck, Donna, Linc etc; Cortland family, Nina, Chuck, Bobby, Myra etc; I can't believe Joe Martin is not going. Why don't they do a spin-off of those not going and rename it? I agree age Petey a little and make him gay and put him into a romance with Jake Martin; or Scott Chandler, make him gay and introduce him to someone. With Guilding Light gone, how about Ed Bauer becoming the new chief of staff at Pine Valley Hospital; It is just a travesty to lose some of these characters.

AMC used to be my fave show along with GH. espicially in the "Palmer Cortland" yrs. He and Adam Chandler always rivals. Over the years and many characters later, it has become boring. I am glad the characters of Erica,and Adam have stayed- I will miss David Canary if he does not continue with the show. Later, Jackson,Opal, became staples. I enjoyed the s/l involving Erica, and Dimetri. Tad the cad grew up some, I thought he found the love of his life with Dixie! Its difficult to believe the town of Pine Valley will now be in Cali! Where will be the winter snows and blizzards?! Will everyone be huddled around the swimming pool Christmas Tree in the middle of winter!? Wishing the move will make AMC more dramatic and a lot less boring.
