I watch the show primarily to follow the storyline of Zack. I think that Thorsten is the most talented actor on AMC. It will be a huge loss to the show to not have him, and I don't think that another actor could fill his shoes. I will be waiting to see what SOAP he lands on, and then I will switch to that show.
I think the move to LA is a poor choice. The audience gets used to the roles being played by the actors that have been in place. It is unreasonable for AMC to expect these actorsto up and leave their lives and families in NYC. I will miss the show, but the plots have been deteriorating anyway.

When I read this show was moving to LA and basically giving actors and actresses,who have been with this show forever an ultimatum, I stopped watching completely..

This nothing but corporate greed...Does anyone care about all who will not have jobs,i.e.actors,actresses,production people,etc.?.How about the families with homes and children?

ABC in reality wants rid of the older characters who have made this show the success that it is,and this is the way to get rid of them..Move and bring in a new crop of younger actors and actresses in an attempt to secure younger viewers..

Nooooooooooooooooooo Zach cant quit amc.. he just cant!! Well crap, that means he will join another soap, and thats just yet another show i will have to start dvr'ing!!

I am with you! Zach is my favorite! Do not like that the writers have made Kendall so whiney. She use to be a fighter like Erica.

Thorsten Kaye has personal reasons that make it important to stay in New York. I understand but that won't make it easier to say goodbye to Zach. Wonder how he will be written out? Or maybe they are bringing in a new actor. Those would be big shoes to fill!!!

those not going will be let go from there contract i beleave is how i read it.

Sorry Miss Chef. I just report what I know. I'm sure we'll know the rest pretty soon. ABC will release a blanket statement "soon". Anyway, I'm more interested in the actors who have been contacted about returning, to see if they might actually come back.


hi' ct' im up state ny right now in the hudson vally resort and no soap net for me to follow up on. monday when annie said to emma "forget what you saw" it was an accident? dos that mean annie is the killer after all?

one week ago, it was confirmed that thoresten kaye was in talks with crossing back over to one life to live permanently. as pratric thornhart.

Well, I can't reveal anything since this is not a spoiler thread. But you can e-mail me, and I will tell you everything I know. I think I'm finally starting to figure out a couple of things. I don't know who the killer is, but I think I can tell you who it isn't.

I believe that the move is being made so that it will be able to be recorded in HD and that the most cost affective way was to move the show to an existing studio that was set up for it.

If Alicia Minshew doesn't relocate, I would like to see Sarah Michelle Geller reprise the role! I really enjoyed her as the original Kendall back in the 90's. If you hate THIS Kendall, you would have surely hated SMG as Kendall.

Confirmed by whom? I don't think I'll be getting my hopes up on this until I see it posted on TKs website or abc's because alot of rumors get started by "spoilers" on fan run sites that wind up just being rumors. I really want this to be true but I'm scared to hope because every time TKs contract on amc ran out the same rumors started flying lol, so I'm just a bit skeptical unless it comes from a reputable site, like this one or abcs official site.....
