It looks like it could be little Emma or Emma knows for sure who did it. Emma is really scared about that night Stuart died and the fact that Emma has been on the show more than usual makes it more obvious. Annie is protecting her. This makes a good storyline for Emma or the character of Emma in the future.

I agree with gpinto. I also think Adam was the one that shot Stuart. I think he thought he was shooting himself. He was so drugged up by David he had no clue what he was doing. When Stuart fell after being shot, things were going thru Adams head. He said stuff like "I must die I have hurt so many people". Annie is protecting Adam because she needs his help to get Emma back.

The hand with the black sleeve looked like David Hayward, however, I agree that it was just a hand with a gun, and may not even be the same hand that fired the gun. So yes, I agree that it could have been one of those things to just make us THINK it was David, or whomever.

Now, as for Emma, here are a few things that do NOT make sense, and that writers are going to have to cook up something that we will buy:

1. Emma never mentions to anyone that Zach was there.
2. Tad's memory miraculously comes back and all he remembers is Kendall, but he never remembered Zach holding a gun. (go to YouTube, and you will see that Tad sees Zach pointing a gun. He forgot it all later after Jesse shot him)
3. If Zach was facing the terrace, and ADMITS to seeing Kendall, how could he NOT see her drop the gun and run off like she originally stated? Why didn't Zach see whomever picked up where Kendall left off?
4. Why was there a big mystery surrounding a pair of legs in black high heels when both Erica, and Liza admit to being there at the mansion? Okay, so if we know they were there, why were their faces hidden? I say it must have been ANOTHER woman involved.
Which brings me to this...Zach also wears suit jackets with no ties. Did he somehow run out on the terrace to shoot who he thought was Adam, only to frame Kendall? As stupid as that sounds, who knows? Writers are stupid enough to write that in since Thorsten Kaye doesn't wanna move to L.A. He may be written out by way of this ridiculous storyline.

Lastly...in my opinion, Adam shot Stuart. He thought he was killing himself. His mind wandered with those meds, and he tried to commit suicide, by way of shooting who he saw in his own image.

Nothing on this soap makes sense anymore! Here are more questions to be answered:
Who threw water on JR's face and ran off?
Who knocked on the heart doctor's hotel door moments before he died?
We are seeing black heels in recent episodes too! (Usually Madison). So are these heels connected to the murder too?

I know these are questions posted in the past by you or me or someone else! My point is that this convoluted mess grows daily and instead of solving even part of this mystery we are watching a dance-a-thon for crying out loud!

It's pretty obvious Emma did it...

I am just sooooooooo tired of this s/l I don't even care anymore. Really...

I will just use my views based on the past eleven or so years of watching this show and say that it is Aiden that shot Stewart. I base that on that his part on the show has become troublesome in where he can be used in the future. He has lost his friendship with the core of Amc's character list by helping Annie that I believe that it is the writers easy way to get rid of him under the pretense that Aiden was trying to help Annie some way by shooting Adam.

I'm not 100% convinced that Emma is innocent.

I think it was Ryan.So he can put the blame on Annie.So he can finaly get rid of Annie.Because after he got shot in the head ,hes been different.And he's always trying to put her her in a mental ward.And never wanted Emma to be any were around her mom.And thats wasn't right.This would be one way he can get Annie out of Emmas life.He has every one believing Annie crazy.And I think Ryan is the crazy one.
