Does anyone remember when........ADAM would never

Adam in his prime.........Would NEVER allow anyone to get over on him like Annie is doing now. I can't believe that Adam is being sooooooooo niave (sp). In his day he would have seen through Annie in a heartbeat.

I'm thinking there is something to the idea (someone had) that it is not Adam but STUART in these scenes and Adam was the one killed.

That would make for a big shock alright. But Stuart was such a sweet man that I don't think he would have put his family thru all the sadness.

Your are right. Stuart would not put them through this, especially Marian and Scott. As for Adam, in his day, he was smart in business but not always in love. I keep thinking he may be more onto Annie than the viewers are allowed to see.

It would be so great during Adam and Annie's wedding Stuart walk into the church, alive! Adam knows who wanted him dead. Stuart dressed as Adam was "killed". Stuart walks in while the pastor says "if anyone objects, speak now or forever hold your peace"! Stuart saw the refelection of the shooter and identifies them!

For once, I actually agree with you. A lot of characters in the show change from good to bad, and vice versa, but Stuart was the only one they kept the same. I can't picture Stuart putting Marion and Scott through hell by feigning death. What I think is going on is Adam IS on to Annie, but he's PRETENDING to be naive. Plus, between Adam and Stuart, ADAM is the one who will score big with ratings. Stuart has never done that. So why kick Adam off and keep Stuart? If this is what writers are doing, it will be extremely ridiculous on their part.

This actor is one of the greats to play twins -- you could even note the difference when he was supposed to be Adam pretending to be Stuart -- he really is very talented. Anyway -- I think the storyline should have been: Stuart is killed -- but everyone thought it was Adam -- so Adam pretended to be Stuart in an effort to solve the crime -- now that would have been very interesting to watch.

Soap Fan,
Writers don't care what WE think is interesting. They're too busy ruining good characters, and creating ridiculous storylines.

Soap Fan,
Writers don't care what WE think is interesting. They're too busy ruining good characters, and creating ridiculous storylines.

If the writers wanted to make their job much easer and keep AMC viewers content, they would read this message board every day. The story lines suggested by viewers, especially viewers like you Miss Chef,are far more interesting and accurate than those we view each day.
