I have disliked a few characters over the years but none as much as Marissa! Such a stupid s/l and useless waste of air-time. The whole twin thing stinks. Get rid of her and use her salary to bring back one of the good characters that they got rid of.

I like Marissa, she is a good addition to the show. She is nice, maybe that is why nobody likes her. I don't think she will end up being like David. I really like her and JR together.

I don't care for Marissa either. To me she doesn't have chemisty with JR. Maybe with Scott, they both have funky impressions on their faces when they talk. So put them to together. JR needs someone new.

Well, user Feie thinks Marissa is a nice, sweet person. That very well may be, but sweet and nice doesn't make a character. Either you're good or you're bad. Marissa ranks right along with people like Amanda. I mean, characters like that are neither here nor there. Now, you can hate Kendall, Erica, Ryan, etc. but they're good at playing who they are. They're either good at getting you to like or dislike them. Unlike Marissa, who's just some dopey chick going from door to door trying to be everybody's friend. Nothing interesting.

I'm just waiting for this Stuart mess to be over. Really. All characters can go to "you know where" once I'm done with the Stuart saga.

I think we viewers need to give the character of Marissa time to unfold.
Do you remember when Annie first came on the show? She was sickening sweet and goody goody. I swore that if I had to see her dream about those stupid fairy tales she wrote for Emma and making Ryan her knight in shining armor I was going to throw up!

Look at Annie now! She is deliciously evil, and I for one can hardly wait to see what she will do next.

According to Frons, Marissa is a "poor woman's Bianca" in attitude and in temperment. Don't watch the show much anymore, so is Frons right??

I know Marissa is new to Pine Valley and trying to be everyones friend. She lost both her adoptive parents and wants to form a relationship with her birth parents. She appears to be to young to be Babe's twin, but AMC did a good job matching her as David and Crystals daughter. Definatly no chemistry between her and JR but good as just friends. For now she is boring, but could be after the move to California, she will be more fiesty and independant.

Even though Bianca got on my nerves w/that little baby voice of hers,being Erica's daughter gave her some spunk; she was kinda like Stuart,sweet, but she could set you straight when necessary; Marissa's whole PERSONA gets on my nerves:the way she looks, talks, acts, etc.! She adds nothing to the show and she and Scott should ride off into the sunset together, imo...

WOW!!!! Is there something wrong with having a NICE person on AMC? Why is everyone critisizing Marissa? Why does everyone say she will Eventually become evil? I think she is a GREAT addition to the show. We need at least one person who is NICE. And Yes Annie USE to be nice. I don't like her anymore. Why do that to another Character. Keep them nice. Just like the old days. I am only 35, but I remember Jenny. She was a sweet heart. And of course even back then they killed off the Sweet people. I hate it. Why do I even watch? I like Marissa. She will NEVER be anything like DAVID....

I say send Ryan and Erica to Africa and leave them there.. They make me want to throw up. Yuck!!!! I have to fast forward every time those two come on the screen. Yuck! O yeah, I already said that. Yuck!

I couldn't agree with you more! I hate Marissa with J R because he should be with Babe. They should have left Babe on the show. Marissa could never replace Babe!! She needs to go!
