I really didn't think he would go along with this baby scam/lie. I thought for sure he would bust Jake and Amanda. I'm disappointed that his character is grudgingly going along.

Oh I know!! After seeing Amanda like that, and missing the first 5 years of Kathy's life, you would think he would spill!

Oh I know!! After seeing Amanda like that, and missing the first 5 years of Kathy's life, you would think he would spill!


But we have to remember that Amanda wanted to put the baby up for adoption. Jake even told her at the hospital they could keep the baby and raise him. She said no. She just doesn't know Liza is getting the baby which I think is wrong on Jake's behalf. However he is just doing what Amanda wants. Tad's just caught in the middle. If he told Amanda the truth what will it change? It would be different if Amanda thought her baby died and Jake was keeping that from her but as I see it he is following Amanda's wishes. Not exactly as he should, mind you, but nonetheless he is placing the child with someone who will love it and can provide for it. It will all come out eventually and we'll all be saying "we told you so".

the whole fake pregnancy storyline is sooo ridiculous,the only thing its will eventually do is gather support and symphathy for dr death and everyone will forget all the rotten things he has done over the years,and then he can start doing them again!! gets old

RE: David.. Has David ever KILLED anyone...? as far as I can remember, I do not think so.... i know almost everyone else on the show has, but I do not think he has. If that is correct, it seems ironic that he is the "bad guy" just because he is not great father material...... ??

Perhaps David hasn't killed anyone (though there is still the chance that he killed Stewart), but he has schemed against people. He drugged dumb krystal. He plotted with his stupor nurse groupie to drug down and make Adam seem senile. He was trying to get litte A away from JR. He let stupor nurse groupie take the fall for what he did, when as a doctor he is supposed to "do no harm." He got Jake and Angie fired and forced Joe Martin out of his position as Chief of Staff, and took it himself. How did a rotten doctor demoted to janitor take over a hospital, anyway? As you can tell I don't feel a bit sorry for him. I guess that means he is a good actor, who can make his character so evil. lol

I do remember that but frankly Tad hit the nail on the head when he told Liza that no parent should ever be made to think that their child is dead – not even David. Imo he should have voiced this opinion to Amanda and told her to get her big girl panties on and fight to keep her child. Her reason for putting the baby up for adoption was atrocious and when all comes out I really want David to win custody.

I agree with all four of you, except I believe David should get joint custody.

I am very disappointed in Tad for not saying anything. He kept saying,"I'm not going along with this. What you are doing is wrong."
Yet, what has he done. NOTHING. He could have told Amanda that Liza has her baby. If she knew that Liza out of all people has her baby, she would flip out that Jake gave her baby to such a rotten person.
Really. Liza is really no better than David. It would be DIFFERENT if he gave the baby to somebody like Stuart, if he wasn't dead or Di Henry, if she wasn't dead. But he gave the baby away to somebody as rotten as Liza.

Amanda took the cowardly approach. She should have just fought for custody like normal people instead of acting like such a coward, which will in the end, cause that poor child mental problems when he finds out, probably turning him evil. If I ever found out that my mother faked my death, I would need mental help, wouldn't anybody? That's a huge shock.

So, if AMC wants to be a little bit real, than that kid will need mental help in the future.

However, I strongly believe that Amanda is going to be totally pissed at Jake when she finds out that Liza out of all the people in the world has her baby and this will probably ruin their relationship. Personally, I think Amanda could do better than Jake. She needs a man with a moral backbone. Too bad there's no man like that on AMC. The only moral men on AMC are too old for her.

I think AMC needs more hot male actors, preferably from Chip n Dales. Jmho.

Anyway, Tad is the only character I really like now. But I feel so sorry for David. and NO. David has NEVER killed anybody. He's just a jerk.
