i think deep down ryan is a good guy!

I think the only time Ryan was a good guy was went he was with Gillian. After that...not so much. The writer's have made him a complete a****le. His scenes make me want to punch the TV. I don't even know if they could even redeem his character.

totally agree with you. most everyone on here is calling him ryass but i honestly think he's one of the better characters on the show. sure, what the way he is acting about annie is harsh considering that she's emma's mother, but, the woman did kidnapp her numerous times and let's not forget she's a cold blooded murderer. and yeah him sleeping with kenbiotch wasn't the best choice but if i remember the scene correctly, she came onto him. she took advantage of his vulnerability. idk, it may be becaue i'm a guy that i interpreteted that way, but ryan is one of the few people in p.v. who will do whatever necessary to keep the ones he loves safe, however screwed up his though process behind them are. give the guy a rest everyone lol. sorry for the rant

Ryan – Good? How do you figure? Just because his memory of his own wrong doing is shorter than a gnat’s life span doesn’t make him “good”. It makes him the supreme hypocrite.
We know that Ryan spent much of his time as a con man (thief)
He tends to dump women quickly as soon as they disappoint him (he did the same with Gillian and only wanted her back when someone else was with her – never mind the fact that he was using Greenlee as a sex toy at the time).
He makes idiotic promises to women that he has no way and no plan as to how to keep. “Trust me” is code for look into my bugged vapid eyes and perhaps you won’t realize that you’re being put through the ringer or landing in jail. He had no plan to help Kendall when Erica was pressing for her to be put away for the arson and we all know how he kept Greenlee under control when Kendall was on trial for the Cambius murder.
He screwed Liza in the bushes right after Gillian died. She thought she was pregnant and then when she lost the baby he hated Adam for it even though she was married to Adam at the time.
Do we recall the fight club Ryan?
Do we recall Ryan the undead? (and yet he holds that very tactic against others – Zach)
Nearly choked David to death (when he was actually trying to help Greenlee with he moronic, self absorbed husband)
He enabled Jonboy to the point where he was actually able to murder Edmund and Steve (the body guard). Had he not interfered when Maggie was going to press charges against him those two would still be alive.
Riddle me this: When has Ryan attempted to help anyone and not actually made things worse??? NEVER. He’s not good – he’s an inept pompous ass who needs to be treated as such.
